I ordered Butter chicken and wheat parota. The chiken was not cooked, there was blood and fresh meat. When I showed them, they were just casual and said it happens because you came early for lunch (though it was already 12. 40 pm). It's my first experience, so I shall mot make any judgement on this place. But I wouldn't care to visit it again!

It is a small everyday lunch home just like the name says. You will get good variety of food, good taste and at an affordable price. For college goers and job holders it is a perfect setting. Even tourists can get a taste of everyday food here. We ordered the chicken sukka, squid pepper fry, jeera rice, parota, neer dosa, fish curry, rava fish fry and ko Kokum juice. The juice was tangy and a great palette cleanser. Fish curry was with a coconut base and tasty. Jeera rice came normally with a side of daal. Rava fry was well fried. Porota and neer dosa also lived up to their name. Sukka was amazing. The pepper fry squid was good but it was dry and the masala had not gone to the squid itself making it slight rubbery. Squid sukka probably would have been a better option. Overall cost for two persons came to only 1000. We had a full stomach.

I had Chicken Sukka and Kerala Parota The food was far away from the authentic Mangalorean cuisine I was hoping for. I left hotel with a sense of disappointment. Service was good , Staff was attentive.

Worst food. Please don't go here if you want to try authentic mangalore dish. Nothing is good here. We ordered chicken ghee roast and neer dosa. Trust me, even I was not able make out what we had. The ghee roast was sweet in taste and more liquidy/curry and neer dosa want not well prepared and not fresh. When enquired about the sweet taste with the manager, he informed that they have added sweet sauce to the ghee roast. I mean, why to change the authentic recipe and name it mangalore lunch home at the same time. They need to understand that people come to the restaurant to taste authentic dishes only, and not the one that has been redacted. I am suggesting all to not visit this restaurant to taste authentic mangalore dishes. Please stay away. Bad taste and poor quality. The ghee roast didn't have even ghee in it. The price was too expensive also.

Had the pamphlet fry it was truly amazing and superb taste, waiters are very cool, and if someone is specially looking for some mangalore dishes is the must try hotel. I have tried pepper chicken 10 years ago and taste remains same till now. So it's a must try one for mangalore style foods.

I ordered egg biryani, it had chicken pieces, before ordering they said rice would be cooked separately but they gave the same chicken biryani rice

An amazing place to have a quick hearty lunch. The service is promt and people there are friendly. Fish dishes are good and give off a great Mangalore vibe. Must try the goli soda
