It's was great experience , amazing Service and stuffs behaviour very good.

It was a great experience there.. the caretaker, the guide were very kind and warm.

The best place near Kolkata for camping. You can go in a large group to enjoy and explore the village beauty. They arrange for bonfire on everyday with lip smacking bamboo chicken and will tell you horror stories just to match the ambience. Food is the best part if you love authentic bengali food. They will provide you with 4 meals. They will take you to night safari where you can just stand for few mins and experience the night life of a jungle. You can hear so many animals sound with firefly's light. Great place to visit on winter and monsoon. Summer is not suitable for camping in South Bengal.

I'm second time visiting the mangalgunj.. The place has been spoiled than before.. The river got extremely jammed.. The service of izifiso backpackers is also not good this time.. No proper maintenance is there.. Very disappointing but will not recommend anyone further..

Definitely a good place to experience a spooky environment but very basic during day time, the real experience starts at night.

Its a good escape from the city for 1-2 days stay. Foods are good and home like. Specially the bamboo chicken is awesome. Bonfire and night safari to the indigo kuthi is special add on. You can also feel the padmadan forest from this place. Boating in ichamoti river at afternoon is really peaceful. I love this place and fully recommending those who love raw nature. Thanks

We went in a mixed group with parents and kid. The senior citizens are overwhelmed by the ambience, food and warmth of the staff. The child in the group wants to return many more times. Bamboo chicken was the icing on cake. As entire group we would love to visit all the properties owned by backpacking monks.

1st camp experience. Loved the place. Well maintained, Neat & Clean camp. Friendly & well behaved staffs. Good Food. Good for 1 Night Stay.
