A government property beside Ganga & situated near by Gandhi ghat barrackpur. Nice place to visit with family or friends.Nice & clean rooms are available there.Staff behavior is also good. They have own restaurant. You can order your food in your hotel room or you can eat food at theirs restaurant.Veg - non veg both foods are available. Outside foods are not allowed. Food is tasty. Nice place to stay. There are houseboat also.
Very poor management and slow service, laid back attitude of staff and complete mismanagement in the front desk. Not much options in food menu and extremely overpriced and bad taste, better to carry some dry food here. Location wise houseboat offers nice views but rooms are a bit small but has all the necessary amenities. One night stay is sufficient in the houseboat.
The houseboat room is really worth it. Booking is through West Bengal Tourism website. Staff is well behaved. However the food is average and overpriced. Overall a good place to spend a day or two.
The location is excellent, right beside the Ganga. The rooms on the first floor are big and airy. The service and the food quality needs vast improvement.
Being located near the barrackpore cantonment this West Bengal touristy maintained resort is a good choice for a quick family get together, though a little overpriced but unlike the usual luxurious resort . Being situated along the ganga ghat house boat stay facilities are also available at a price of 4000 INR for a day , which is overpriced considering the fact that they aren't providing a strolling facility with the boat , a stagnant boat is equivalent to a room stay ganga facing (in my opinion) . Talking of food quality, not satisfied honestly saying, but it's all in the ambience and the greenery along with sprinkles of historic idols.
Ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Well appointed rooms, friendly staff and simple yet good food are the hallmarks of the resort.
The only good thing is that they have quite well maintained & spacious rooms. Highly overpriced food with a normal taste. Too costly for a place like barrackpore. Now coming to the main part while booking rooms it is mentioned clearly that service charge(5%) will be levied that too is optional. Even while checking in it is clearly mentioned that service charge will be levied during the final payment. The staff however charged the full service charge while checking in . Highly unprofessional and unethical. It is quite hilarious that you have not even witnessed the services of their staff and before that they are charging you service charge. Rest in peace hotel policies .
Excellent location and ambience. Ideal for a short getaway yet not far from the city. Food is good. Hospitality is good. The place is neat and clean. Well maintained. The only complain is for not having a balcony on the river side rooms.
Exceptional Physiotherapy Experience. I had the privilege of working with an outstanding physiotherapist, Dr. Khan recently, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the moment I walked into the clinic, the atmosphere was welcoming and profe
If you are serious about achieving your fitness goals, this the the place you should be rushing towards. Also, friendly environment with good assistance.
So, after I got my hair and eyebrows messed up in my previous salon, Head Turners Barrackpore; I found this salon. They give the best service, like...THE BEST. This is my regular salon and I'm very much happy with their service. Kiran over there actu
Finest place to visit on Christmas day. Barrackpore's biggest church and it's very old church. On Christmas day the church is open for everyone, others day is it restricted or not, not sure about that. If you are from barrackpore or nearby town it's
This place is 10 minutes away from Barrackpore Railway Station. You can get toto rikshaw from the station to reach the ghat. The view of the river is amazing. Also the environment of the river side is very peaceful. It is a great place to spend your
Peaceful and coherent place to visit in Barrackpur but the ghat is actually closed all the time. Two policemen are engaged to watch over it who often sit there, made this place quite uncomfortable. Parking and eating is also prohibited there.
Marvelous experience. Pleasant weather. It's actually blissful experience. I would love to recommend you all to go there and have that experience. Mangal pamdey ghat entry ticket price : 50 rupees per head
The location is quite good. Overall the ambience of the cafe is excellent. They have tried to use ar code menus and digital order buttons on the tables. I would say it's a very nice place for couples, college going youngsters to hang out. The food wa
