A beautiful home with clean facilities and a very friendly host. The yoga room is light filled and warm. Biju looked after us and offered us anything we needed and assisted with transport and directions. Great location also!

We stayed as a part of our Kerala road trip and it was absolutely mind blowing. As a couple who loves to travel we make it a point to stay among locals as it let us mingle more with the culture and Mr Biju and his wife were exactly what we hoped for. The place is extremely beautiful, lush green garden, tastefully decorated rooms, and a cup of coffee in the serene winds on their rooftop is just like staying in heaven. Place is right in the middle of city yet feels like a country side place as it's far away from the city noise. Our hosts treated our taste buds to the most authentic Kerala cuisine they went out of their way to make our stay most comfortable from giving us the exact location pin for our cab, to helping us rent our cab for the road trip and giving us all the advises made our trip more memorable coz we knew they care. We love u Biju and Gini and your two lil angels who kept us thoroughly entertained. If looking for peace yet hip life in kochi this is the place. Good people, great food, amazing connectivity, yoga, Kerala Ayurvedic treatments, lush gardens to just relax you name it it's all here.

I stayed here at Inn Mangalath with some friends for about 5 days. We wanted a silent serene place and got the reference of Inn Mangalath and the beauty of this Inn from some Cochin based friends. I should say, though it is within the city the positivity you feel staying in this calm-place is immense. This Inn has well-kept brand new rooms with all modern amenities and furniture in par with International standards. As a frequent traveller, I found the home-rules not so hard and fast compared to other similar Homestays. Of course, he was strict about adhering to the Governmental regulations. The hospitality we received from this family was great that they made us feel like members of the same family. We were a group of musicians and had all support from the Inn Owner to practice for our performance. He did not even bill us for the tea and snacks served during our music-practice sessions Though busy, I had to find some time to write this to thank Mr. Biju and family for such a beautiful time they gave us. Will soon meet you at your Inn.

This is NOT a place for a group. The rooms are clean and well maintained also the bathrooms but the owner is kinda annoying. He kinda reminds you of hostel warden from your college days. * No noise after 11pm. * AC should be maintained at 24 inside the room. Additional charge for using AC in the common room. Not sure if he charges for each reduction in temp ;) * The entrance to the common room should not be locked :D * No food or drinks allowed inside the room or the common room, which doesnt make sense since there is a kitchen attached to the common room. This might be a place if your idea of a vacation is to just stay silent and sleep (boring). Others dont bother. The only reason for the low rate is for the bad experience. Else the place is quite nice and very well maintained.

Lovely ambiance and awesome experience! Mangalath Ashramam is indeed the best place for comprehending the yogic wisdom. Spacious rooms for stay ,large YOGA area and related amenities. The residential yoga Teachers Training program was beautifully designed and the atmosphere was highly conducive. Thank you so much for making us feel at home.

Spent a week with my girlfriend here. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet. The house is very clean and warming. The owner offered him self to make plenty of cool activities around Kochi with us, like riding his Royal Enfields!! It was definitely te best homestay we could have chosen.

Such a wonderful stay, we were looked after from the moment we got there. My partner has a bad back and a masseuse was organised for the three days to help. We were looked after like a long lost friends and I would seriously recommend for anyone who wants a proper experience of Kochi!

Interior work is good. Not good for hosting office getogther as there is lot of restrictions imposed. Food and drinks are not allowed in rooms. Faced continuous issues with electricity. Try not to change the temperature settings of the AC as you may end up in trouble. Bachelors can stay away from this place. Good for spending time with family especially for foreigners.
