A great place for all bird lovers coming to Mangalajodi. It is like at a village with all amenities-a memorable experience altogether. We stayed as a group of 3 people. The rooms are comfortable, neat and well-kept.Service is impeccable, and staff is polite and super helpful.The food was local fare -tasty and homely.The location is great.Value for money!
Nice location, awesome food, good boating facilities. Rooms overlooking a dense sloped forest with mesmerising view. Only drawback is the service which I believe can be much better if some more service personnel are recruited for smooth functioning. Overall a very good experience.
Fantastic experience by staying in the property with friends. Very nice ambience with tasty local food. People managing the place are beautiful, well mannered, and so helpful. Highly recommended place for nature lovers. Location just beside Mukteswar Railway Station. Birding spot is at a walking distance of 2 kms. There is a dormitory with four beds and four double bedded cottages. Loved to visit this extraordinary place and looking forward to visit again and again.
It's one of the best and cost friendly place to stay. It being operated by the Mangalajodi Eco Tourism Trust. Since it's older one the facilities too are basic ones and is well maintained. It has 6 rooms. Staff are friendly and cooperative. Package is inclusive of Veg Food and a boat ride with guide. Food is like home made and is tasty with very less spice. Do check the checkin and check out times.
It's a very convenient location to stay if you are visiting Mangalajodi for birding. It's very basic, so don't expect anything more than basic. The NGO running it organises your transport to the boating site and the actual boating too. You pay in one place, rather than individually organising everything.
If you are a dedicated birder, come here. If not, stay in Bhubaneswar.

Service of the boys are awesome. Beyond expectation. Food is also good. But rooms are not look clean.
Everything is good except few things like from cottage to ghat, which is hardly 4 km but they charge Rs. 300 one way which very high. Cottage is clean but has odour. Food is excellent.
