Mangalagiri, Guntur Overview Mangalagiri, a temple town located in Guntur, Seemandhra (Andhra Pradesh). Literally translating to 'The Auspicious Hill', this place is one of the 8 important Mahakshetrams or sacred destinations in India. Mangalagiri holds huge importance in the Indian culture as it is believed that Lord Vishnu had manifested himself on the very soil of Mangalagiri and Goddess Lakshmi performed penance on the peak of the hill as well. Owing to the legends pertaining to the divine, there is a tremendous footfall of believers here throughout the year.

It's a great feeling. Temple of Lard narasimha swamy in town and Panakala Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy on the hill are famous here and large numbers of devoties come across the state. This is the biggest town in the capital Region and rents are affordable for middle class. It is 10 km from vijayawada, 20 km from Guntur and almost 30 km to Tenali. Mangalagiri is famous for cotton sarees and dress material. Even good schools like NIRMALA, NARAYANA, CHAITANYA, ARAVINDA and other schools are available for children education.

Please don't go to station during 6 pm to 6Am , I got life time experience in this station My experience:- Our train arrived at station morning 3:30Am and went to waiting Hall (Because we don't have other choice there is no vehicles to go our destination at 3:30AM ) so we went to waiting Hall at 4:10 am police camed into waiting Hall and said all people in waiting Hall to go out. After all leaved he locked himself in waiting Hall he was sitting in the fan and listening to devotional song and outside we have game with mosquitos until morning. I can say this is my life time memory I always thought about money but now I'm thinking about power also one more point no water coming in washroom and also they locked some washrooms (I don't know why they locked) please give me like if my review really helped you

Mangalgiri railway station is small. Near AIIMS Mangalgiri (AIIMS Mangalgiri to Mangalgiri railway station distence approx 2 KM) this station is average clean. Local market approx 1 KM

It is benefit for all near to Mangalagiri. No need to go to Vijayawada or Guntur
