View of river Ganges is beutiful specially during sunset. Enjoy quality time with special one. But the entry fee 50 rupees is little high as the park is not maintained well, no flower garden, jungle not cleaned regularly, overall total park lacks maintenance.
Marvelous experience. Pleasant weather. It's actually blissful experience. I would love to recommend you all to go there and have that experience. Mangal pamdey ghat entry ticket price : 50 rupees per head
Excellent View Highly recommended, you get a newly open restaurant called Rasoi King, A part of West Wing Restaurant & Boutique beside the park. You love the place the way they place all the things inside. Tea was affordable 10Rs , place is well clear and hygiene, food was delicious. Good place to hangout with friends and family.A nice place. The park beside it is well maintained and the scenic beauty is intensified after a little rain. It has a couple friendly environment. If you're walking from the main road to reach the ghat, you can see the well maintained barrack areas and the greenery.... have a good day!
This place doesn't have the care and attention that it deserves. The Ghat and the riverside was so beautiful that it would have been made more attractive if the authorities could just take a look at it. I had to pay Rs50/- for my car, though I hardly spent five minutes.
Mangal Pandey Ghat and adjacent park is best suitable for couples,as I noticed. The greenery and sculpture of the park is mind blowing but the surrounding views are not so familiar. Also there are problem of extorting money in the name of gods. May be weekend is better for visiting.
Just a ordinary Ganga Riverside Ghat, built in memoir of Mangal Pandey, one of the freedom fighters from Barrackpore, now used by common people living there. It's getting too much polluted day-by-day for non-activeness of government & under-maintained area. Garbages are scattered here & there. No scenic view outside the main park. Also Park entry fee - 50/-. Not recommended for a day outing because many unethical works are done here. There're a resturant & a small temple just beside the park. I didn't enter the park as it was not so good place for being with friends. Not suitable for children at all though many animal structures are inside.
Mangal Pandey Ghat and adjacent park is best suitable for couples. The park is beautiful.
The entry of the park is 50 per each person according to 2023. Inside the park there is a restaurant. The place is situated at the bank of the Hooghly river. The parking charge is 10 rupees for bike. You have to park your vehicle near by 100 meters ahead from the park

This place is 10 minutes away from Barrackpore Railway Station. You can get toto rikshaw from the station to reach the ghat. The view of the river is amazing. Also the environment of the river side is very peaceful. It is a great place to spend your
Peaceful and coherent place to visit in Barrackpur but the ghat is actually closed all the time. Two policemen are engaged to watch over it who often sit there, made this place quite uncomfortable. Parking and eating is also prohibited there.
