Its a small city with various attractions related to Rani Roopmati. There are some nice palaces and ponds. Nice green city which has big traffic and parking problems. Overall a beautiful city with nice attractions.

Mandu or Mandavgad is an ancient city in the present-day Mandav area of the Dhar district. It is located in the Malwa and Nimar region of western Madhya Pradesh, India, at 35 km from Dhar city. Place of archaeological importance. Natural scenic beauty, but most recommended in monsoon season. Situated at high altitude. Road to Mandu is full of blind turns, avoid late night drive. Tour can be completed in a day, but stay also available in resort. Local food is okay.
