M&N CHOCOSTORY - Chocolate artisan in Ooty - The Nilgiris, India

The chocolate museum at its best with well designed displays of infographic and artifact's. Visitors has multiple languages options, English, Hindi and local languages. At the end of the session, they provide chocolate sample dipped in hot chocolate. They also have in-house exclusive chocolate shop with variety of chocolate for buyers.

I visited M&N choco story in Nov 2022. The place has a chocolate museum, sales counter and make your own chocolate option. The museum guide gave a good walkthrough of the museum and explained the chocolate history and chocolate making process. A complimentary chocolate slice was given in the museum. Later I went for the make your own chocolate where we can select the ingredients and make our own chocolate in the mould. The staff is very patient and helpful to answer all the questions. It's worth a visit when you come to Ooty especially if you like chocolate.

MnN Choco Story has a wide range of chocolates along with it gives a detail understanding of the emergence and the making of chocolate. Got to know the various ingredients of white, milk and dark chocolate!! The place was so good and it gave a different feel.. got to witness a doll whose dress had the butterfly embellishments made out of chocolate.. They also have a session to make our own chocolate with their variants of milk, white and dark... The chilly Chocolate was the best! The entry ticket for the chocolate museum is Rs50 and it was worth it as they offered us a complementary choco dip cake.. And for the making of our own chocolate it's was Rs150 where we get to take away the ones we make! The place also had a photo spot to enjoy pictures!!

A small but professional place. They teach chocolate making also. Rs.50 Entry fee. There isn't much to see, but they give a piece of chocolate dipped in running live chocolate to taste. Parking available for around 10 cars at a time. You can buy chocolates by tasting them. There is just one Washroom and it's walls are dirty. Hope they see to it. One star less for that.

It was great experience. You can see varieties of chocolate including dark chocolate , sugar free. You can prepare your own chocolate also.

They offer a wonderful tour of their facility. It traces the origins of chocolate -- from when cocoa beans were first discovered to how chocolate was once used as currency. It then highlights how cocoa plantations originated in the Nilgiris. A soft spoken gentleman guided us along until we reached the retail area of their facility. We purchased several kinds of chocolates, which we thought were reasonably priced. They taste great, too.
