Nature is always awesome. Nice place to visit. This place is really good for who loves mountain and historical place. This place specially Cave is found so many years ago (not actually years in number). In side Cave water source is available, that water is fresh,neat and clean.Still no one recognise about water source comes from. Please visit this place usually in day time.
Mandap ghal (Cave) : It's naturally formed cave at the cliff of sahyadri platue.. It was the place where samarth ramdas swami meditated. Previously only entry was the descend / ascend down on a massive chafa (frangipani) tree trunk and branch inclined towards rock.. Now satara forest department has planted a stairs for entry. There are 3 main caves - one with endless water source with clean drinkable water, 2nd one is just near the stairs and third one below the main cave complex. Last cave is just on left of the cave with water source.. Here one has to crawl to reach inner compartments of the cave. Currently it's under illegal possession by localites offering non-veg food and they allow people to consume alcohol 24x7@365 days.. Playing loud music and thus destroying the holiness of such a wonderful place where once swami ramdas worshiped Bhagwan Lord Rama and Hanuman.
