The hotel is in very poor condition, the tap and shower do not work. Stinky old mattress. Very small and dirty room. The details about the hotel on the booking website are false. We booked kayaking through the owner, he charged us twice the standard rate, promised us breakfast, boat travel, none of which were provided the duration was also half of what he mentioned. Very rude and abusive owner.

Very bad experience. This one was called Teens Mandalay when I was staying and keep changing the name, Now it is Back packers hub. The reason they are changing the name is to suppress all negative comments. Always see good rating and at least 50 users review and then book. Never book one without review. As they keep changing the name, all negative comments with older name won't be visible with new name of this hotel.

In the last week of December, I suddenly planned a trip to Allepey but did not book the rooms in advance. When I searched for good beach resorts, I spent almost a day calling all the resorts. Luckily, I got Harry's number from a website and he said, "I just renovated the rooms and will share the pics." After seeing the pictures, I confirmed the rooms. When I reached the resort, the rooms were right on the seashore and they were clean and beautiful. I enjoyed my entire stay at the resort and stayed for 2 nights. Harry was awesome and suggested some nice places to visit and eat. Overall, I enjoyed the trip.

Great location. Awesome host. Willing to go the extra mile. Confirm the type of room whilst booking to avoid any confusion... Perfect beach for swimming (be mindful of swell though)... and great ocean shack restaurant nearby! As well as cafe catamaran just up the road. Perfect for a 2 day stay, or longer if you like!

I stayed there with my wife and 8-month old son. We enjoyed the hospitality of Harris greatly. He is always available with advice and support. The location is superb with a garden lounge right on the beach. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Harris organised for us an amazing canoe backwater trip with transfer, breakfast and lunch included at a reasonable price. I highly recommend it. There is no breakfast, but you can use the kitchen on-site. There is a good restaurant 5 meters away, serving food and drinks across the fence :). The village has all you need within 8-10 minutes walk. The beach is vast and empty, just off the crowds of Alleppey. Also it is an excellent starting point for nature trips in the magnificent backwater and the Western Ghats. I will definitely come back. We felt totally at home. Thank you, Harris!

Beautiful place near the beach. It is very quiet, both inside and outside. Shaded garden with sea view. Very neat room and bathroom. There is a kitchen available if you want to cook for yourself, and a restaurant next door. Outside there is an extra shower and water to rinse off most of the sand when you come from the beach. Owner is friendly and helpful. This is a must!
