Manda Clinic - Gynecologist in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

It takes a lot of time waiting for your turn(UNDERSTANDABLE).But the staff at the reception/billing counter/ medicine dispensing,and laboratory investigations most of them are not professional, slow and their patient interaction is very substandard. They should be given some sort of training or simply fired.

Good doctors. But the services of their staffs can't be more opposite. Abandon all hope for the day you take appointment for most of your day will be spent waiting. And they will give you no rhyme or reason why other patients are going before or after you. Now they send their patients to Shillong Radioclinics just one floor below for various tests. Expect the same service there also. Atleast one or two patients each day will be quarrelling in the reception for the long waiting time.

If you don't have any work in your life then you prefer this clinic, The doctor may be ok. You can meet God soon but to see this doctor you need to spend 500/- for every consultation and wait when the clinic opens at 9 am and maybe if you are lucky you will get a chance to meet a doctor in the evening, maybe 7 or 8 pm. They say you need to take appointment, For them appointment means you need to wait whole day to meet doctor not a specific time. And medicine are very costly. Because it's like a shopping mart. You get your file after it passes through all cabins and finally the bills will be in thousands. For us , we almost spent 9000/- for only two visit. Think 10 times before opting this clinic. Doctor work in Bethany hospital but they have separate clinic to look after.

I had the best treatment from Dr clarinda khongwar she is an amazing doctor,can't thank her enough but just the waiting time is tired but otherwise I had a great experience

Absolutely pathetic & Looting system developed to benefit only the Doctor. Shillong has very low standards hence they might be successful else in bigger towns like bangalore, Delhi or Mumbai they will struggle. Average wait time is 2+ hrs !!! yes sometimes doctor is late, otherwise a very very poor appointment management no system. They don't bother to even ask if Patient wants to take medicine from them - No option as the moment u get out the doctor's room; staff takes file and prepares the list of medicines and payment receipt. I checked 1mg & pharmeazy the same medicines cost 30-35% cheaper. Also,they will push you to use their own Testing centre which again is another level of pathetic in terms of respect of customers time; Consider your 3-5hrs gone. No facility for drinking water; tea coffee for patients; If you ask them a question they will take 30 minutes to understand and respond. They will push you to do endless number of test - Each visit is Rs 5000 and they will ask you to come every month 1-2 times. Imagine they operating critical care; half the patients will be waiting with God

Doctors are skilled. Yes waiting hours are long, it's because doctors perform other tasks too; like surgeries in Bethany hospital, running tests on patients etc; apart from just meeting patients and giving them a diagnosis in the clinic. They have to manage their timings too you know that's why sometimes they arrive late in the clinic or go missing in between. I had visited the clinic for almost 2 years, every time I visited I would wait for hours to meet the doctor but in the end the meetings would mostly be satisfying. Can't post a negative review because after all I could be able to conceive and birth a baby only after getting treated in Manda Clinic.

Doctor is good but the staff that she has appointed are horrible and very rude. When you call for an appointment they revert by saying that no slots are available. We had an emergency case and we requested that we want to come and show and we are willing to wait, the staff reverted by saying that we don't entertain any emergency cases and we don't allow any walk ins. There is complete lack of empathy and they are the worst people on the planet. It will be better if you look for some other options in Shillong till the time the Doctor looks into this issue and replaces her current staff with better and more humane people.

Clinic states that it opens at 9:00 am to 10: am but we waited more the 6hours just for the doctor arrive what kind of private clinic is this....
