Manasi Bungalow - Home Stay in Lonavala - Pune, India

A perfect place for our reactive dog! A place to detox and relax if you are a nature lover. I presume, like us, every reactive dog parent worries about holidaying with their dog! And we were extremely happy to have chosen this place for our first holiday with our dog Bruno. We wanted to visit a place where Bruno could relax and do the things a dog does, because ofcourse its a dog's life! Manasvi Bhatia had reached out to me while we looked around for a perfect place. As nervous as we were, she made sure to help and prepare us for the holiday effortlessly! A warm welcome by Minal Bhatia, who is the owner of the bungalow, asked us to offleash Bruno and I remember for the next day until we checked out of the property, Bruno was never on leash. I must say with their bespoke holiday services, they must add catering to reactive dogs as their speciality. Pet Services - They have a kitchenette, where they helped us cook Bruno's meals. The entire property was available for Bruno and all he did was sniff and roll over and run around until we checked out. The staff too is pet friendly. What we really appreciate is, it was a homely feeling for our dog. Most importantly, your dog can stay with you in your rooms, so that's not a worry! If you have a reacyive dog, make sure you inform them well in advance so that they can prepare accordingly. The owners of the property are dog lovers and have well experience in management of ferocious and reactive dogs. Stay for the humans - If you are a nature lover, then don't think twice. The property is divided with a living room and a bedroom for larger families and a singly bedroom for couples or families with less numbers. They have a beautiful verandah and a lawn, perfect for reading and bonfires! Its an homely environment. Food - The inhouse meals are cooked by the caretaker. And if you love traditional home style food then they have a chula. We were served delicious seafood and of our choice and the village style chicken on the chulha. The rates of the chulha style cooking is expensive though. There are a number of eateries around so one can look at takeaways too, though we preferred the food cooked by the caretaker. Lastly, Ms. Minal Bhatia, a powerhouse herself and the owner of the beautiful property. It is a pleasure to know her. A very caring and nurturing lady, we had endless conversations with her. She made sure, Bruno was comfortable at all times and catered to our needs too. Her daughter Manasvi helped us with the bookings, while Minal Aunty took care of us at the property. Management of a reactive dog is not easy, and I am extremely grateful for the lovely team of the ladies at Manasi Bungalow for being our support and welcoming our dog! We are happy that we have a place for Bruno near to Mumbai!

Tired of working from home, surrounded by walls and occasional windows that presented the same views, I was looking for a peaceful, scenic and quiet place to work from, away from the city vibes and that is exactly what I found here. The Stay - The place is a beautiful 2 bedroom bungalow surrounded by greenery. It has a huge front lawn surrounded by flowered pots. A spacious and beautiful backyard garden surrounded by trees and mini vegetable garden overlooking a still part of indrayani river which is a visiting place for a variety of colorful birds at morning and evening times. Although the river feels more like a stagnant pond, it surprisingly wasn't smelly at all and provided great opportunities for clicking some beautiful birds. Through my booking, I got the back bedroom, backyard and the Veranda. In my 6 days that I stayed here, I was sitting out working in the veranda overlooking the backyard throughout the day and would only go back in the room for sleeping or washroom. It now feels like I probably booked the Veranda and backyard, and not the room. The room was spacious, clean and everything you expect from a hygienic stay. Yes, there were the occasional bugs and mosquito, but I wouldn't call it an issue as that is what comes when you decide to be surrounded by nature. Not expecting nature to overlap with comfort in a place like this is plain ignorance. Internet and electricity - I had booked this place as a workcation, hence having an uninterrupted internet and electricity was crucial. Although there were occasional internet and power outages, since this place has great mobile network available, my work wasn't interrupted. The outages were very short lived and did not pose any issues. Internet speed was enough for lasting meetings throughout the day. The Food - You can either opt for in house meals that are specially cooked by the caretaker on earthen chulas in a traditional village home style cooking (delicious but expensive) or there are the many eateries that you can have the food delivered from Zomato. The host also provides you contacts for other good and affordable eateries nearby that they vouch for personally. The host - Talking about the host Minal aunty who stays there and her daughter Mansi who I dealt with for the bookings, I would simply say, they were so welcoming, accommodating and genuinely caring and helpful right from the booking to the check-out. Minal aunty is so caring and genuinely kept track of my meals and made sure I had everything I need during my stay there. It genuinely felt like a home away from home because of her warm and pleasant nature. Thank you for being such a lovely host and the beautiful place you have there.

Went here for weekend with friends. This place is really amazing to have a great time with your family and friends. 2BHK luxury villa With a big garden. The caretaker was so down to earth and attentive, they served really delicious food and she had a smile on her face for the whole time.. you can enjoy board games here. Morning had a really nice yoga session in the garden. This place is beautiful and be assured for a great time.

Had an amazing time with my friends. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend plan. The place is far away from City chaos which makes it perfect for a peaceful stay. The bungalow is very spacious, this includes one massive living room, two bedroom with attached bathrooms. I was surprised to see such spacious bedrooms. This bungalow can easily accommodate 15 people. They also have live kitchen service. The staff cooks amazing food must try their Kanda poha Overall I had a great time at such an amazing place with great hospitality. If you're looking for a perfect weekend getaway this place is worth visiting.

A truly lovely place for a visit or a meal. We spent a lovely Sunday there. Ate an amazing lunch on the lawn! Loved the attentive service and al fresco ambiance. We checked out the rooms as the house is available for holidays and WFH stays! Loved the little touches like the bell metal thalis and the Kutch embroidered table linen. Recommended!

So peace, calm and pet-friendly place. The house feels like home. Rooms are big and clean. Ambiance is awesome. Away from the hustle of city you can spend one hell of the time. Open space around the property please you to stay here for long. Care takers here are so good and really give you great service. The perfect place to stay..!

Would not recommend this place to anyone with the price they charge. We have been charged 40k for 1 night with 6pm checkout and the property was not at all worth it. Bathroom was smelly with black stains on commod, floor was so dusty, bad service and not at all higenic. We had to ask for basic things like soaps, toilet paper etc. One of the bathroom was chocked with shower not working, one of the hammock was broken, she gave us badminton to play whose rackets were not good and when the shuttle broke they did not even have replacement. The to my surprise, the owner is so arrogant and not ready to listen. We had to leave early even though she charged us 10k just for staying till 6pm. The service and food all is tasteless except the poha that was served in breakfast otherwise food is not at all worth it.

Other than the clean and spacious rooms, the interiors are beautifully done. Also, there is a well manicured garden at the property. The place comes with a kitchen, so you can cook here as well or you can asked their in house chef cum caretaker to cook with additional charges. Parking facility is inside the premises. Spend moments of comfort in the perfect sojourn of nature here. A stay here would make you feel no less than at home.
