Manappattu Chira Mini park - Park in Malayattoor - Ernakulam, India

I visited the small children's park near Malayatoor Nakshatra Thadakam and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of activities it offered. With 4-5 engaging activities, it provided a delightful experience for kids. The colorful play structures, swings, and slides kept the children thoroughly entertained. The park's location near Malayatoor Nakshatra Thadakam added to its charm, offering a serene environment for both kids and parents to enjoy. It's a wonderful spot for families looking for a fun and relaxing outing.

Malayattoor is a village gifted with natural beauty with a divine touch. It has its name because of the geographical position. The village (ooru), situated between the river (aaru) called Periyaar and the hill (mala) called Kurisumudi, has got the name Malayattoor. It is a place where people from different religions live intermingled. Agriculture and cattle farming were the occupation of the people. During the royal rule, this belonged to the Thirukochi state which was ruled by then king of Kochi. Periyar was the waterway to transport spices and agricultural products to Kalady, Angamaly and Aluva. The suitability of the place for cultivation and cattle farming attracted many people from near and far villages and thus they were immigrated to this locality.

Nice Location for Evening and morning walk. New year Programme and carnivals happening here. Kids friendly and family friendly location. Boating available in the lake.

Great place. It was popping with energy and entertainment with wonderful illumination. It's worth the visit in December with cool winds. Lots of parking places at reasonable prices. The road jurney was comfortable as well.

Nice spot to spend ur evening and for a morning walk

Nice place... Boating available Rs 50 for one person. Its located at the downside of Malayatoor Hill. 90% Of the Movie Aadu 2 location was here. We can drive around the lake.

Not worthy of being called a park. It is an abandoned nook of the vast manapattuchira, where no one goes for ANYTHING, because it has NOTHING. A useless piece of land wasted.

Had one of the best new year celebration here. Awesome atmosphere! A place where even families could enjoy without any trouble. Well maintained. Ample car parking space available. A lot of rides which children and even adults could enjoy
