I went to Malvani Pahunchar after reading the recent reviews online. Ambience wise the restaurant is not great. Service is very slow, waiters are in their own world.. The waiter through whom we ordered our food goofed up big-time.. He didn't hear us properly and missed out on main course dishes. The only thing we got to eat was their bombay duck roll (image attached) which was amazing and rest we couldn't try anything else since he forgot to write our orders correctly.. Hygiene is not followed properly, we found a cockroach roaming besides our table..
Each n every dish we had was soo good do try prawns fry and chicken and fish thali was soo tasty though we also had prawns rice which was almost the best in all we got good service also thanks to the owner

If you are looking for some authentic malvani non veg food then gulabjam a newly opened restaurant in borivali is the place to be. The staff is so friendly with us also loved their hospitality.. Its just top notch. Coming to the food we tried their some authentic malvani dishes We started with refreshing drinks like kokam sharbat and Soulkadi . In starters we had the Dam kash tangdi and the Chicken kaji methi tikka. Trust me the presentation and the taste was really good I literally loved it. In the main course we tried out their best seller Surmai Thali with Surmai, thambda Rassa, curry, rice, bhakri and Soulkadi.. It's a perfect meal thali for one person highly recommended dish. We also tried out their chicken biryani! It was really nice in taste as well. Overall a good family restaurant located in prime area. I suggest everyone to do give it a visit at this place for an lip-smacking malvani food. You will fall in love
GULABJAM Today i visited gulabjan family restaurant is newly open in Borivali w they have amazing offer on their dining, they are giving 15% off and they also giving compliment drinks which is the best part. The food quality was outstanding amazing tasty don't have word to describe it. just go and try this place. The staff was so friendly & helpfull. they maintain all the protocols of safety measures. one of the best restaurant in Borivali for Malvani cuisines & they have also North Indian, Chinese & BBQ Cuisines. It has indoor & outdoor arrangement too with beautiful ambience. Over here you can enjoy with your family and friends. We enjoyed a lot. Thank you for your kindly service. I hope to visit again.
A great place to dine in with family and friends. Staffs here are very polite. Ambience is fancy. Seating arrangements is good. Great quantity as well as quality. We have tried the following dishes:- Kairy Panhe:- This drink was very refreshing. The flavour of kairi was amazing. Veg crispy:- Crispy was astonished. The Crispy was very soft and juicy. Paneer Lasooni Tikka:- The paneer pieces was soft. It was amazingly marinated. The tandoori flavour on veggies and paneer was coming out very well. Shravan Special Thali:- One of the best thali to try in this Shravan. Highly Recommended!! Veg Maharashtrian Thali and Veg Thali:- This both thali consists of 2 chapati, a bowl of:- Rice, 2 different shabji, papad,salad,daal and soft gulab jamun. A great place to have thalis. Their quality as well as quantity of the food is great.
Its an good outlet to go for. Vegetarian and malvan is their specialty. Service is quick and staffs have proper knowledge about their menu. We had :- *** STARTERS *** 1) VEG MALVANI TIKKI :- One of the best tikki i have ever had. It was soft amd yummy. 2) PANEER CHILLY :- This Chinese starter was delicious. It was perfect in taste, medium spicy. *** MAINS *** 1) SHRAVAN THALI :- They have this special thali which is a must try dish. Its Shravan special thali. It had 4 puris, 2 sabji, dal, rice, salad and sweet. Quantity was enough for a single person.
I recently visited this amazing place which is located in Gorai, Borivali West. They are serving best Malvani and Chinese food here. Recently I got to know that this place are serving Shravan Thali, so I decided to visit to try it out. I have ordered 2 Shravan Thali. 1st Gujarati Thali and 2nd is Maharashtrian Thali. Both the Thali are full loaded with Roti, 2 Sabji, Dal Rice, papad, Salad and Gulab jamun. Batata sabji from Maharashtrian Thali takes my heart. It was very delicious in taste. I have tried their Mocktails, Pahadi Paneer, Bharwaa Aloo which is really great prepared. Bharwaa Aloo is must try here, full of flavourful and juice Aloo. I will surely recommend this place. Must try.
