My recent visit to Mallu's Dhaba left me with mixed feelings. The food quality didn't match the prices charged. What struck me the most was the uncanny similarity in taste between their butter chicken and kadai chicken, and the butter chicken itself was far from resembling the classic dish we all know and love. This deviation from expectations was quite disappointing. In addition, the fresh lime we ordered had an unpleasant taste. The naan and tandoori chicken were both average at best. On a brighter note, the service was satisfactory. While the service offered some redemption, the overall dining experience was below par. The lackluster dishes and inconsistency in flavors didn't meet my expectations. I would hesitate to recommend Mallu's Dhaba for an authentic dining experience based on my visit.

Mallu's dhaba situated near Cochin international airport. They have vast area for parking. They have spacious area for dining. Their menu includes lots of north indian foods. All the foods are delicious. They have beautiful ambeance.
The location and the atmosphere is good. Service is also fast but the main thing is food which we really didn't like. We ordered chicken roast which was about spoiled. And too much oily. Chapati is full of butter. Chicken tandoori is very dry, all hard chicken pieces and masala are also not proper. Did not like the taste. Chicken soup was very nice and proper. Rates are reasonable.
Food is very average in terms of taste. Tried their Kadai Chicken, Tandoor Naan, Aloo Paratha and lemon rice. Lemon rice didn't have any taste of lemon. Aloo Paratha was spicy and Kadai Chicken had extra masala. Didn't enjoy the meal. Service was good though.
Not worthy. The portion size and quality of ingredients are just pure disaster. The soup is below average. The naan and rotis seem okay. Palak isn't fresh. Service is barely okay. Options are very few for vegetarians. Pricing is done competitively, however at the cost of quality. Won't recommend it to anyone
