A wonderful place nearby ongole (mostly 20 kms in distance) . Should have own vehicles to reach the Dam. No proper facilities available. Boating is available on everyday but Sundays is preferable as there will be much crowd and no need to wait for occupancy. For Adults -50/-, for children - 30/-

Mallavaram Dam is a well-known name for this location. substitute name is Reserve of Kandula Obula Reddy structure was constructed over the Gundlakamma River, I'll get right to it There are parks here, and to the side is a temple. At this location, one could picnic for a long period. This area needs to be greatly developed. It is preferable to schedule visits only on weekends and then just in the evenings because there will be fewer visitors throughout the week. A boating facility is offered.

Shocked to see the present position. Worst maintenance. Parks, Roads, Boating, Greenary.. everything at it's worst condition. Few years back it was very beautiful.

Visited this place when were going from ongole to Hyderabad. The Google maps route was completely wrong and it took on the worst mud road which took 6 km from main road taking 30 mins and the other road which we saw after reaching the point which took us 10 mins to reach the main highway road. The dam was very old structure and it looks very big and the maintenance of the park and dam was very good and a temple is also located next to the dam. A good place in the nearby locality to spend some good time with family and friends, be careful while moving on the dam bridge and our cars can also be drive through the dam road. Chala manchi Place. You will definitely enjoy there. There is one big wedding convention hall and temple and sceneries and park for photoshoots also we can enjoy the dam when all the gates are open. Everyone must visit once
