An unexpectedly wonderful destination! Our visit was spontaneous, but we found this untouched and secure gem. The breathtaking scenery is truly mesmerizing. If you arrive at 4-5AM, you can witness the stars and catch a stunning sunrise. Don't forget to hike up the nearby hill for a 360-degree view; it's absolutely amazing!

This is the highest hill near Kuppam or Kolar Gold Field. You can visit this place in monsoon or when clouds pass over the hill. Almost every time there is no rush in this place. And mostly 2 times it will be rushed in this place. For kids and family trip for a day, this place will be good.

Fantastic ride! Good weekend getaway spot! Took the Hosur road for the ride, Hoskote road can also be taken. Beautiful ride crossing KA-TN-AP along the way. Good roads but precaution to be taken. Pros: 1) Beautiful location 2) Very good roads 3) Decent parking spot 4) Lovely scenery Cons: 1) No shops anywhere near the location 2) Carry cash as there is very less UPI payments 3) Absolutely no facilities, there is one toilet but not fit for use. Overall a decent place to ride/drive on weekends.

The temple is only open in Monday's. Rest of the days it's a fantastic spot for sun rise and sun sets. It is located in Andra, but one can see Karnataka and Tamilnadu from the peak. Not the most ideal place for couples, except for the days when the temple is open, as one can find people using it as a chilling spot (may even be drinking). But if you're going as a large family, none of this would matter. People are generally very friendly in this region.

Unexpectedly great place. Went unplanned. But the place is untouched and safe to visit. The view is mesmerising. Reach there by 4:45 AM so you can see stars and get sunrise view. There's a small hill above climb there and get the 360 view its the best

It is such an amazing place to visit. The cool breeze with stunning sunset makes it a go to place for those who need some peaceful time away from everyone. Just find a spot, sit and enjoy the beauty of sunset.

Location: Mallappa konda hills. YOU CAN EASILY FIND THE LOCATION ON GOOGLE. Best time to visit : Early in the morning, ( if you can reach by 9:30 to 10:00 in the morning it's great) or try between 3:30 to 4:30 in the afternoon. Visited on 03/09/2023, with family. Looking at the crowd in Nandi Hills, this is probably a good option. It's around 108 km from Bangalore. Surrounded with lush greenery and roads are in excellent condition. Good enough parking space available for cars & bikes( No parking fee or entry fees ). Both two wheelers & four wheelers can reach till the top. Even elderly PPL can reach till the top with a private car. No eateries on top. Carry enough water. If you carry an umbrella , it ll be useful as , not much shed available. Carry food if you need, as there is no shop or any eatery there. While driving through jungle & vilage CURVY NARROW ROADS, keep blowing horns to avoid any accident with bikes/ cars from opposite direction. Even these roads are butter smooth ( rarely you may find a pothole ) but curvy narrow road. Be very careful and drive slow. From Bangalore above 80% it's highway, which is excellent. After reaching the temple, you can climb up to the hill peak till the Shivalinga through a small track ( if you are interested in tracking , come prepared with atleast some sports shoes with good grip, anyways it's an easy & short tracking ) Toilets are definitely not clean. Easy drive. There is a short portion of ghat section but not atall steep. Hope this is helpful
