Nice place to visit and stay there to spend leisure time. The driver will make some nuisance due to a parking issue, pls ready with an alternate arrangement or pay extra. Also morning to evening it's a amazing place to enjoy leisure time. Enjoy the peoples' enjoyment. Hope Glenary's one of the finest bakery, coffee shop..must visit and try the food.
Happening place. Must visit . I recently visit this place. Crowded area. Restaurant, shopping mall are there. There is a street market also. Also there is a street food line where u can enjoy ur snacks. This street food starts from around 6 pm to 10 pm. U can enjoy ur evening. U can shopping from there also.
I love the street shops in different locations and the experience of Darjeeling mall road is quite nice but , shopkeepers there are so disrespectful and also liars . Like I told you guys my experience 1st I am about buying an overcoat so i bargain and he just throws the money on my face like this is not the way to treat a customer like that . And secondly i bought a bracelet from a shop who claims to sell the things that are made of real silver and another day itself that bracelet just got black and i go to the shop immediately and ask him to change and he was like no I don't change i never told you this doesn't turns black or anything he just flipped in front of me . A very bad experience DARJEELING. GIVING 4 stars just because of the vibe .
You can spend your evenings here by sitting and sipping tea. Also can buy tea leaves here. However, a bit renovation in the area would be nice. Like a attractive banner.
The Mall Road and Chauk Bazar was good place to spend few hours in the evening. Nice cool place. It was very small compared to Mall Road of Shimla. I did not like the fact that it was covered from all sides. You cannot have the view from the top of Chauk Bazar. Whatever the view was available, it was obscured by thick electric cables. The local authorities should create some viewpoints. Shops and bakeries were really good.
The place is happening and beautiful. You can get everything here. Multiple options to eat whether you want street food or restaurant. Bakery to toy shop and pharmacy to clothing shops. Except street food, everything else is expensive here.
Amazing place... Everything quiets down early around 9pm, so it's a thing you gotta consider and plan accordingly.
