MALKAJGIRI SUB POST OFFICE - Post office in Secunderabad - Hyderabad, India

My account is at HPO, Secunderabad, went at 12:15 pm on Saturday to PO to get my passbook updated but after standing in que line for 10 minutes when my turn came I was told that the counter got closed 30 minutes before and I had to return back without getting my passbook updated. On Google maps the working timings are from 9:00 am to 17:00. The counter staff are very irresponsible and unresponsive. There is no counter working timings mentioned near the counter which is ridiculous.

I was skeptical at first to opt for Postal service as it's very new to me and taught it's very time consuming. But Mr Srinivas helped me and guided me in right direction to get things done without delays. So far I have visited quite few times to deposit, open savings account, PLI and so on and had a proper support. Other staff are also very helpful and friendly to clear doubts if any. Ofcourse, at times it's crowded, but it's expected during some times even in banking services so it's understandable.

Harsh reality : No one gives you a damn once you open your account Deposits are happily taken, while withdrawals are welcomed by flurry of questions Server issue comes up out of nowhere which is never ending Do not even tender change for even Rs. 100 Your own signature is questioned in case of higher amount of withdrawals Overall, it's a place for retired people and for people who are time-pass driven...

I found that Mr.Srinivas Rao, Asst. Post Master, Malkajigiri P.O. was very helpful to me in getting my works done. I had some complicated works to get resolved and thought I will have to apply for some days of leave and get them resolved. The above mentioned official has got my issues resolved hassle-free and without my undergoing any sort of hardship. I found him to be knowledgeable in all the departmental works, proactive to help, amicable to customers and believe he is an asset to the postal department. At the same time, all the other staff members need to be applauded and appreciated for rendering efficient and excellent service to us.

Postal department is growing very fast now a days and at the same time postal staff are positive approach towards customers. I totally 100% trust their services to all age group customers. Thanks to Malkajgiri branch postal staff and their efforts towards customers. Regards.

The service is worse and speed post is only for name sake. Waste of money.till now I didn't get the parcel which was sent through speed post.

The staff at the Malkjagiri were very courteous and helpful in helping me get my account activated and KYC approved in one day. This usually takes about a week. I would recommend the staff for their willingness to support customers beyond what is normally required.
