We had a pleasant stay in the heritage jacuzzi. The aesthetic design of the villa gave us a heritage and at the same time a luxurious feel. The property is so clean and well maintained. Another attraction is their restaurant which is situated near the beach which gives scrumptious food and a great ambiance. They also have spa and other activities for the guests. The staffs are friendly and courteous. The hospitality was incredible. Kudos to the whole team

We stayed in a garden hut for two nights, the room was clean with very good air conditioning. The team at the hotel were very attentive and always friendly / smiling. Breakfast was served in the Waves restaurant, which overlooks the beach, the food was delicious. The Waves restaurant was one of two that we visited multiple times in the local area - the other was the Chillout Bar/ Restaurant, which is a ten min walk up the beach. The gardens around the hotel are very well maintained. We booked a boat trip through the hotel on the backwaters which was great! There is also fishing rods and boats available for people to use. We loved our stay and would recommend to others.

Really amazing. Good ambience. Good service. The team is unmatched when it comes to customer service. Really impressed. Located near to the Cherai beach, on the road side. One might not see their board right away. More than enough parking space. Good food. They offer different activities to keep guests engaged. Would definitely recommend Maliekal Heritance.

We had an amazing stay. Staff were so friendly and helpful. It was very quiet when we stayed so we had the whole place mostly to ourselves. The pool was lovely. Great location. Our child loved the bikes and the play area with swings and slide.

Very aesthetically designed and constructed rooms/suites with a luxurious feel located at a very scenic spot facing backwaters and the restaurant facing the beach. However some off the amenities were not functional and not all of them could be rectified during the period of stay (2 days). The staff was very polite, courteous and prompt. However a bit more of indulgence on part of the management can ensure that the place can live up to its full potential. There were plastic and glass bottles floating around in the backwaters adjoining the rear of the resort. Cleaning up that place will not only make that place beautiful but also ensure better hygiene. There were also unclean tiles covered with algae in the small water pools at the rear.

Pros: Luxurious villa with most modern facilities. Jacuzzi room with sea view balcony was awesome. Room and environment was well maintained. Nearer to beach and have backwater nearby. Rdaturant is close to beach and have good view. Good food. Cons: Snaks served with tea can be improved. Initialy got a room with ac not working. Ac issue not fixed till 9pm. Then got an upgraded rooms. Had asked for a house boat option, which got no response. I had stayed 2 years back, which was fabulous. This time found little discrepencies. Had booked two rooms for 3 families. Overall good experience with nice ambience.

My friends and I recently embarked on a visit to the esteemed Maliekal Beach Resort in Cherai, and we were thoroughly impressed by its quality. Our short visit was greatly enjoyable. This property offers enjoyment for both friends and family. The remarkable aspect of this place is that it encompasses both a tranquil backwater and a stunning beach, providing us with the opportunity to savor both. Within the backwater lies a pedal boat that we can embark on,we can enjoy fishing as welll, guests can also enjoy a delightful beachside restaurant that offers magnificent views. We enjoyed a great 2-night, 3-day stay at Maleikal Resort in November 2023. The highlight for us was its location, as it had a lake on one side and the sea was just across the road. We loved watching the sunrise over the lake and the sunset by the sea. We opted for three wooden cottages to accommodate six of us, and all of them had balconies offering splendid views of the lake and Chinese fishing nets. The rooms had a heritage ambiance, was clean, and had well-functioning appliances. We also enjoyed the resort's curated activities, including kayaking, pedal boats, and fishing. They were all organised very well and had enough staff around to help. Waves, the resort's restaurant located across the road, served us complimentary and tasty breakfast options, featuring a mix of Kerala specialties, Indian dishes, and continental treats. While lunch at Waves was delicious, it leaned slightly towards the pricey side. There are other restaurants in walking distance, so you are not stuck with Waves alone. The daily complimentary evening tea and snacks served by the resort near the lake provided a perfect setting to savor the sunset. The polite and helpful staff contributed significantly to our positive experience, with special acknowledgment to the hospitable operations manager, Kamal, who consistently ensured our comfort and enhanced our overall stay.
