While the place is calm, serene & beautiful, it's probably the worst cafe I've ever been to, atleast in Karnataka. We had 3 cold coffees and the only vegetarian starter they had - jalapeno poppers. 6 super tiny jalapeno poppers, tiniest I've ever seen, for Rs. 300+ tax. 3 cold coffees that tasted below average, came with an artificial chocolate flavour for some reason at Rs. 145 + tax is unjustifiable. Atleast use good quality coffee and maybe you could justify the price. The service also, my dad asked for drinking water and instead of serving the entire table, the server bought 1 glass, I don't understand the reason for such terrible service and food and then being charged for it. If what they offered was good, I'd be okay with the price, but this was just terrible. The ambience and the place is lovely, only saving grace but definitely not enough. Place is soo Beautiful and vintage!!! We ordered Tea - which was served cold - Disappointed! Shake n lemon juice was good. Place is well maintained. Can be visited once.

One of the very old cafe in Mysore. This cafe is calm and peaceful. Lemon ice tea was good. Carrot cake was soft but the taste was okay. Dates and walnut cake was good filled with nuts.

Other than the ambience everything else way way below par. Prohibitively expensive going by Mysuru standards. Service is horribly bad. Everybody seems to be highly disinterested in giving the desired service. Even stingy about giving the mandatory glass of water. Food is neither upto the standards nor anything to speak about. Very bad experience. Total waste of money n time.

The atmosphere is really nice and pleasant for a morning breakfast. But the staff is very limited and very slow. The food was nice. But took 30 min for a filter coffee and tea to be delivered. Recommend only if you have ample time to spend.

Visited on a Saturday evening, very peaceful and quiet ambiance and no crowd. The lemon drizzle cake was very good. Even though it is called a coffee shop, only 4 coffee options were available, and the taste was average and not worth the price. The cafe is located in one of the prime areas of Mysuru, and therefore should be up to par. The menu card was unprofessional, just old A4 sheets, and the service was poor and slow, we had to go to the main counter to order a sandwich. Being in one of Mysuru's old palaces, it was disappointing that the cafe did not reflect the city's rich heritage and instead went the commercial route of charging exorbitant amounts for small portions.

A calming breeze, old world charm and good cakes. This is one of the best cafes where you may get lost in good old days talking to your friends and treat yourself. Worth visiting here. Do try out. You won't be disappointed.
