Awesome place, due to high water level was able to sight only one adult mugger, but entire trip of 90min was worth it... It has awesome landscape, birding and croc sighting....

Lovely experience spotting Marsh crocodiles in Vashisht River. I would like to thank Mr Sandesh Sansare for arranging the Crocodile safari for us. We were able to spot around 4 to 5 crocodiles from a very good distance and even the boat ride was fun. Mr Sansare also guided thru a shorter route to reach this place from Ladghar Beach which saved half of our time

The place was a perfect scenic beauty plus a boat ride for good time cherry on the cake would be if u spot a crocodile around u. The location is beautiful and peaceful a must visit try to go during low tides if u eager to see a crocodile u can call and check the timings also can do advance booking with them

One of the only places in India to see Marsh Crocodiles in their natural habitat. Mr. Sandesh organises boat rides to see these crocodiles during low tide. Best to call him in advance and find out the low tide timing for the day and book your slot. He can also arrange for food and refreshments if you book in advance. If you're staying in Khed or Dapoli, you can reach the spot opposite to them and you'll be picked up by a boat - this easily saves 45-60 mins of drive time. Highly recommended experience in this area!

Very well organized boating to see crocodiles. Saw many during the ride. Very humble and caring persons particularly Mr Sansare. Will visit again and ask my friends to visit this ride of more than an hour in Vashisthi river safari.

Great safari, spotted 20-30 crocodiles. Tide timing is very important so will suggest anyone wanting to go to talk to the organizer before doing so. A binocular is recommended but not required. The stay at Mr Sansare's place adjacent to river is rustic, okay washrooms, definitely great food. If you plan on staying, do not expect anything fancy. We loved it since we knew the place was basic. Tea, evening bhajias, veg thali, chicken thali and fish fry were all great.

Nice place. Great food. They have a room for groups but we didn't stay there. Tour was very nicely organised and the boatman took time to ensure we got to see the crocs snoozing on the banks. Could be a little difficult to find as Google maps gives confusing directions. Ask locals for directions.

You get a chance to see those huge beast (Crocodiles) very closely. An experience you should not miss and near by there is a huge river were there are Boatsman who takes you for a round.
