The place is magestic. It offers peace, serenity, beauty, and the best time you can have with your family/friends. The river is monsoonal so it shrinks immensely during winter, and swells dangerously during rainy season. But during spring and after monsoon, the volume is just perfect. You can see river valley from either side of the bridge. Tourists come here from various places. They love the scenic beauty. But one of the saddest thing we see here is that people come here, they get crazy after seeing the view, they take out their phones and start taking photos.. and this whole photo-mania continues for hours. They get soo busy in capturing the beauty that they completely ignore to actually ENJOY the beauty. Common people!!! for once put your cameras inside and just sit beside the banks in silence. Enjoy the Beauty in its truest form. The voice of winds, water, mountains, cars and all l ..it feels amazing. You travel for 100s of Km to enjoy the Beauty but when you reach here you just waste everything with mobile phones. Also most importantly, as much as you enjoy this beauty and peace this place offers you..... please always remember to take care of the enviornment. Do not throw ayaw trash, especially plastic garbage in the river. This is our home and it breaks our heart to see this place coverd in trash. The worst part comes when it goes into the river. I've often heard people praising a place for it's cleanliness or complaining about the garbage and fowl smell.... either way they do the same thing in the end... littering garbage everywhere. How different are you then??!!! So try to leave a place the way you would love to see when you visit.

Nice place to visit when it's not crowded . Water and place were clear . We enjoyed taking a bath in a clean water. We could find scattered crowd but our pond was literally empty . We were able to take bath peacefully . So much greenery there. I think you can enjoy good times with family there. Good place to spent your weekend so many good cafes are there like Sparrows, jungle gadhera, maldevta farm, four banyan and many more. So you can spent whole day with family. Suggest everyone who comes to dehradun to see this place.

This is naturally beautiful but people coming here have made it a nuisance by drinking and taking food on the river rather the stream. Some have thrown bottles and tins after drinking. There are cars parked in a haphazard manner that deters decent crowd to spend some time there. Even the bridge is crowded with cars and bikes. It does not look like this all the time. Some one should raise a voice
Its a very beautiful and nice place by the maldevta water fall. But avoid visiting during Rains its very Dangerous at that time. Although very less people know it so it is less crowded. Very nice to spend time with family and friends for outing. Remember to avoid visiting in rainy time.
