I felt like a princess here haha. The stay was beautiful with an amazing view of the houseboats. The food delivered was amazing. We also got massages and boats to pick us up at the property- the hosts are well connected in the region and very responsive and helpful. The road leading to the resort is under maintained and can be better. The washroom needs better ventilation. But apart from that- everything about the place was beautiful

A really lovely place looking out over the backwaters. The hotel is very tranquil and quiet, I would recommend if you would really like to switch off and enjoy the peace of the water. You can take a small rowing boat across the water to the local village which was enjoyable to walk around. Extremely reasonable priced room

"Unforgettable Experience in Paradise" I recently had the pleasure of staying at Malayalam Lake Resorts during my vacation, and it was nothing short of amazing. From start to finish, my experience was filled with comfort, relaxation, and unforgettable moments. The accommodation itself was a true gem. The room was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I could have asked for. The attention to detail truly stood out. The views from my balcony were breathtaking, and I enjoyed my morning coffee while watching the boats over the river. What really made this stay exceptional, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and catered to my every need. Whether it was recommendations for local restaurants, arranging transportation, or simply ensuring that my stay was as pleasant as possible, they were always there to assist. I must also mention the delicious breakfast served each morning. The variety and quality of the food were exceptional, and it was a delightful way to start my day. Thank you to the entire team for making my vacation an unforgettable one. I will cherish the memories from this trip for years to come.

One of the best stays in Alleppey on a reasonable price. Location is too good and is nearby the lake where you can view the houseboats from your doorsteps. Resorts ambience is wooden themed and is beautiful to get your photos clicked. Thomas has been really helpful.

We had great experience in front of sunrise lake view. Rooms were totally wooden touch and suspecios. Service was great by hotel manager. He is very polite and even guided us sightseeing to save the time and money.

Everything was just so good about this place. 1) Fantastic location 2) Super neat rooms 3) Pocket friendly 4) And above all - Amazing host, Jeswin! However to give a 360 degree review, would like to point out few things 1) If you are travelling by your own vehicle, it cannot take you till the resort, you will have to park it elsewhere and walk. However Jeswin was kind enough to help us with the luggage. 2) No restaurant and hence you will have to depend on outside food (with home delivery of course) However, for us it was still a 5/5 as we simply enjoyed our stay at Malayalam Lake Resort! Malayalam guesthouse is heaven. The setting overlooking the waters is so special and you can just watch the world go by! The hosts Jose and Jeswin were so lovely and nothing was too much trouble! On arrival they gave a really useful list of popular attractions/activities in the area and were on hand to help arrange them. We opted for a shikala boat ride and the boat picked us up from the guesthouse so it couldn't have been any easier and was a great time. If you are in doubt about where to stay, stay here!! You don't need to go on a houseboat when you are perched right on the waters edge in this beautiful spot! The room was comfortable and the deckchairs and table and chair area outside was a lovely place to sit and chill.

The place is built on backwaters and has a wonderful view of it. The room service and the staff is just amazing, very helpful and will guide you very well if you are visiting the place for the first time. Rooms are very authentic Kerela style wooden cottages. There is so much peace and calmness at this place. I loved my stay here.
