Malaya restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience with its quick and efficient service. The authenticity of the food and ambiance transports you to the heart of Tibet. Satanists abound here in monk robes, wondering what monks were doing here on a Sunday, eating unhealthy restaurant food, I realised that you can even be mugged by monks, and be even more careful of unhealthy food, this restaurant is plain unhygienic with food falling from the roof.
This is a pure Veg restaurant maintained by Tibetans. They accept only Cash. No credit cards or mobile wallets are accepted. Well maintained. Staff is courteous. Many options are available. Noodles is a best option to have. Rice items were also delicious but they used thick rice. Overall, good place nearby the Temple.
Average restaurant. We ordered Meals and Fried rice. Both aren't great. Definitely not a choice if you wish to have rice items.
My star rating is as per my food preferences. If Tibetan food your taste then must go for it.
The best restaurant in the golden temple. Prices are less compared to other restaurants. The food is really tasty. Must visit restaurants.
Visited this place with much doubts in my mind but I decided to go for it. I should admit that this place is very good. A small eatery with about ten tables and couple of waiters. The price is very cheap compared to other places and the portion size is great too. If you are visiting the monastery you can surely consider visiting this place for a sumptuous meal.
Very tasty food, light on stomach and light on pocket. A much recommended place.

Cute little place near the monastery. The waitress/manager was super friendly. We tried some Tibetan dishes, all of which were great and rather inexpensive. I liked the shapta (second picture) in particular. Highly recommended!
Nice guest house, simple facilities but clean. It is run by the monks from Namdroling golden temple. Monks are very kind. Good for people attending pujas or events in Namdroling. Very good location right opposite the monastery.
Food ambience service all good... excellent cleanliness... food is bit costly but justifies the service and infrastructure...very good location for a family fine dine...
