Malav Talav - Lake in Ahmedabad - Ahmadabad, India

Very old and well known Lake of Jivraj Park. After 3rd time renovation recently, looks great while filled with water. Ariel view from highrise apartment gives awesome look of the lake surrounding by green trees. 600 meter walking trek around the lake is favourite in morning and evening walkers. Also good place for morni Exercises and Yoga.

For night walk out is perfect place. You will get food stalls out side as well. Very well maintain. Garden for small kids play area.

The lake is amazing that having number of different activities are there for citizens. It almost have 500 meters of track with paver block. It is one of the largest in Ahmedabad for walk as well as running. People also come to running practice for exams. There are number of equipments in children park area. Almost 15+ equipments for children and also newly set up of other equipments for expercise for amdavadis.RSS will attend their prabhat shakha with their group. they also arrange dhwaj vandan ayojan on indipendence day also. Senior members comes early morning to do yoga and routine gathering. There are some yoga groups who perform daily yog practice. Lake is known for lotus flowers. Here you can find lotus in late which gives beautiful look. Garden having green lawn throughout the year which is maintained by the authorities. A gazebo is there for small gathering I always see most likely the elders find that place to hangout. There are another plot with cotaston flooring and benches with another FRP gazebo for routine gathering. Drinking water facility is there with water cooler. Toilet-washroom facilities are at outside of the lake. Some charity groups provide kadiyatu free of charge. Amul parlour is there since almost 1-2 years now. Outside of the lake you can find number of options to eat.
