Malatihole Hanging Bridge - Bridge in Thirthahalli, Mulubagilu - Shimoga district, India

Amazing nature around this bridge. Makes for good photographs. The story of the man who built this bridge, Girish Bharadwaj, is inspiring. I believe the bridge is rusting now and this is a matter of concern.

Lesser known hanging bridge so never attracts big crowd and that's the beauty of this place.

Not a major sight seeing experience. Has good usability and saves nearly 10 kms travel for locals here. Accommodates 2 wheeler travel also through ramps on both ends.

Very less known place near THIRTHAHALLI Good place to hangout with family and friends . Early morning visit will be beautiful Good vibes only Visit the place but don't throw any plastics papers or snakes cover to the river be a responsible traveller/ tourist.

Built around 15 years back. It has corrosion but still strong. Casual place to visit. View is also good. Nothing much to see

Its not east to find this place because its not a easy road to reach it. You'll have to drive through a muddy village road, and ask local people to reach the place. Its just another hanging bridge, like the ones you can find around Karnataka. The water is definitely not the cleanest. Worth a visit inly if you want to burn excess time, since its just a 2km drive from the main road.

Very beautiful place. The view of the surroundings and river from the bridge is beautiful. Around 30 to 40 minute drive from thirthahalli village.

Not a tourist spot but Nice place to visit in the evening. The river is serene. No facilities. Its a small detour on the way to Bhimanakatte, which is a much better place
