Great place to bring kids. Ticket price is reasonable. Parking space is available right next door. Large amount of fishes of different sizes are present here for viewing. The exhibits are really nice and well thought of. Photography is allowed but use of flash is prohibited. The aquarium has 3 sections with a variety of fishes. 2 open ponds - 1 indoor and 1 outdoor are also present.
Fresh water aquarium by Kerala fisheries department. Lot of varieties of aquatic organisms. Almost well maintained. Lighting should be better. Felt more humid inside. Worth for INR 30 entry fees.
An excellent aquarium very good one for the kids and even the elder ones will enjoy. Lot of fishes and well maintained, considering the rush in malampuzha dam this place is not that crowded. A must visit place if you are planning to visit malampuzha dam.
Good aquarium setup where you can find many different types of fishes. Place was neatly maintained. Crowd was not much inspite of being a weekend. Really good place for those interested in fishes. Would recommend this place for those who are planning to visit Palakkad.

One of the best collection of fishes. Very nice ambience. Good building architecture. Now they have expanded and added more collections. Worth spending sometime if you visit malampuzha. Affordable entry fee.
We liked the species and the structure of the aquarium. The giant fish building was cool. But animals do not have enough space. This gar fish requires a wide turn radius. The width of the tank is too small, so this fish can never even turn around. Very sad.

Experience in the ropeway was really wonderfull. Its a 15 minute ride . It is located outside the malampuzha gardens. Near the parking area. two person can sit in one cable car. One normal tocket cost is 71 rs. But you can take vip ticket for 108 Rs
