Malakkaparai View Point - Nature preserve in Malakkappara, Pariyaram - Thrissur, India

Of you are coming from athirappilly the road is small if any vehicle comes from opposite it's bit difficult in most of the places, in case of 2 wheelers it not a problem but you will have to wait because ther will be some traffic. And there will be no network or most of the sims you have to take that in mind. Few stores provide wifi, so you can make payment through that. More than a viewpoint, it's just a connecting road to valparai. Of course, you can find some viewpoints there, but it's not that great if you come from kerala Where you can see more beautiful views than this in munnar But as a viewpoint on the way to valparai, it's a good stop to relax and to have a tea

Just awesome. Really beautiful and the atmosphere make's mind fresh. I just excited by seeing this place, because i don't expect or believe that it's on thrissur district. Sunrise nd sunset from this area is so so charming.

Beautiful village to visit. Almost 40 km from vazhachaal waterfalls. After 4 pm no bikers will not be allowed to go malakkapara from vazhachal check post to malakkapara and return also. After 6 pm no other vehicles allowed. Almost 6km road work is yet to be done. Also we can go to pollachi from malakkapara - valparai route. There's an stunning view from valparai view point.

A morning drive from kerala to Tamil Nadu through the vazhachal forest enjoying the scenic beauty of Kerala's most famous and largest waterfall "Athirapally"will take you to the spot. What about a cup of tea and some hot snacks and that too in the rainy season.

Athirappilly to malakkapara road trip should be experienced at least once at it will give mesmirising memories and great moments through forest roads, tea plantations and great view points. Could see wild animals at several points

My best ever forest trip experience in this Chalakudy to Malakkapara Road. Absolute thrilling adventurous ride through dense forest without any signal range except BSNL network. You can see wild animals as usual in the road. The Kerala forest department is strict on permitting the vehicles between the timing 6am to 4pm for two whellers and 6am to 6pm for four whellers. The roads are not good. It take 4 to 5 hours to reach Malakkapara from Athirapally falls. bus service also available both KSRTC, TNSTC and Private bus only limited services during only day time. Luckily we have seen Early man without wearing any dress and roaming on the road side. If you go by four wheelers pl be ready with your back up things like spare wheel as there is no signal range between Puliyarapara and Malakapara for 40kms.

Amazing it is! We visited on June, beginning of monsoon in Kerala. The road was good until a few kilometres before Malakkapara. 4-6 kilometres were muddy. The road construction is going on currently so that will be fixed soon hopefully. We visited at the perfect time and the drive and view was beautiful. Thumboormuzhi garden, athirapilly waterfalls and Vazhachal is on the way to Malakkapara. If you have time, you can peek a look at all of this beautiful spots. We went beyond Malakkapara and visited Sholayar dam as well which is in Kerala-Tamilnadu border. We could get a sight at a herd of elephants as well. Driving through this route at night is dangerous. There is a KSRTC special service every weekends!
