Ordered chicken biriyani and it was not that much tasty. The plate which I got the food was not neat and it was broken at the edges. Just a below average biriyani. Lime juice was also bad. The washroom was not clean and filled with fowl smell.
Hotel is near to over bridge junction, Thampanur, Food and service are average, In their name "Malabar Express " I thought that it serves Malabar Dhum Biriyani but They are just adding Chicken/Beef gravy and pieces to the boiled and colored keema rice.

Malabar express is a nice destination when looking for good food. The non vegetarian dishes are good and is affordable. The restaurant is easy to notice from a vehicle on normal traffic. Washrooms are well maintained and have good hygiene. Customer friendly approach is also good. But the only thing which is annoying is to find a parking place.

An average restaurant not far way from Thampanoor KSRTC bus stand. Food served is ok and there is sufficient quantity, unlike some other restaurants. The staff are also friendly and attentive. One major drawback is that they don't have aerated shift drinks like Pepsi and Coke. Besides, the wash are Including urinal need to be maintained better
The hotel looked swanky from outside. It's located on the crowded thampanoor road, near the main bus depot. No parking is available. The quality of food served was poor. The non veg dishes were mostly the fat n leftover cuts!! Couldn't complete the meal. Tried a lime juice too... That was nice! Wouldn't recommend this place (especially nonveg)
