Makunda Christian Leprosy and General Hospital - General hospital in Karimganj - Karimganj, India

We were lucky to see a doctor from abroad visiting the orthopaedic department. He examined my mother thoroughly and explained the condition. But I'm very skeptical about the young doctors running the place, they are probably inexperienced. The location is very pleasant with greenery all across but you won't find any convenient place to stay except a couple of houses owned by local people with no proper sanitation. Come as early as 6:30 a.m. especially on the weekend to get everything done sooner otherwise you'll have to wait for at least 3 hours to get your name called.

Very bad management. Pathetic condition, for a simple MBBS doctor consultation need to wait for 5-6 hour's. No proper response from any staffs, you can't even find them. It's looks like hospital is run by nurses only no other people. Doctors also freshers no proper experience in medical. They take their prescription, They are doing Joke in the name of treatment. They don't cake about patient problem. The first kind of experience in my life in the name of missionary hospital. If they are telling machinery hospital and subsidiary then they must care about patient first and their problem and issues rather than they all are busy in their own and no proper management, care.

For a Charitable hospital, the staffs are way too rude and impolite, From new registration counter to cash counter, If youre new to this hospital, you would experience a very rude reply to each staffs you talked to!,very poor management ...But this is the only hospital which have better facilities around all these villages and we don't have much choice but to use this hospital and comply their rules!! Management can be improve and the staffs should respect the customer !

One of the best hospital in Barak valley for low cost treatment. They believe in low cost service among the people. Doctors are really polite and humble. If any body want to go there first you have take bus or hire car from Karimganj to Bajarichera if will take 1.5hour after reaching Bajarichera you will get small road on left side by taking this you will reach Makunda hospital. Will upload photos of servicess and facilities. Parking facility is also there

I'm rating 2 stars because of the way hospital management system work here. For OPD service, a patient party needs lots of patience and tolerance of the staff's behaviour. They're rude, specially the pink dress party...... And billing system is worst. In order to buy one medicine, you have go through 3 rows of long que. 1. For calculating your bills amount. 2. For paying your medicine bills. 3. For dispensing your paid medicine. You need entire gang to do fast service.

Very perfect place... Doctors are humble... Nurses are good... All is well... I love it so much... May God bless Mukunda Christian Leprosy and General Hospital.... My prayers is with you all.....

Very worst hospital, my wife suffered a lot due to careless negligence of doctors and nurse, during her labour delivery time, Doctors were not available and the nurse were busy playing games in their mobile and chating with their friends, Inside the delivery labour room, my wife requested for blanket as the weather was so cold, they didn't even care to provide a blanket or bedsheet, when she tried to push for normal delivery, nurse shouted not to push, they didn't even allow me to meet my wife, forcefully they did c-section delivery. Even the doctor was very rude, they don't give any medical reports, worst than the Government hospital, the nurse whose holding the file displayed her worst attitude, when i politely asked her about my wife, she didn't even care to explain, rather arogantly said if you are not happy, then leave the hospital, later when i took the picture of them doing time pass, she politely apologized, they don't have humanity. Never recommend that hospital to anyone.

Generally well (Good) but some nurse stuff behaviour are not in Christianity.
