Makhan Handi Restaurant (Hotel Tridev) - Vegetarian restaurant in Varanasi - Varanasi, India

I wish i could give them less than one star. Servicing was not good. They don't even have food serving etiquettes. Food in the menu was not available. Then we order dhai kabab which was extremely sweet like a dessert. They served dhai kabab with green chutney which was full of garlic and onion which was not even seasoned.

This place has a good ambience but needs improvement on the other sides like service and taste. Price is a little too high for the quality of service and the taste of food they provide. I hope they improve.

This is a Pure-Veg Family Restaurant in Tridev Hotel. Food here has no taste, they just make it look delicious. Prices are too high here which is not affordable. Service of staffs is pathetic they do not listen. Overall it was complete disappointment & totally not value for money.

We ordered special thali. The food was very tasty. Quality was good and affordable prices. The service from Shri Sachin Singh was excellent. His behaviour to the customer was appreciable.

I visited this place for dinner recently and have also visited once a few years back. Both times the service was awful. The staff is so disinterested and ignorant. There were a few dust particles in my water that I asked to change...upon which 3 different waiters came to check the water first instead of changing it right away. That's the level of their customer treatment. The place remains almost empty most of the time. If you are hungry around this area and aren't looking for a high end show off restaurant, then visit Sona Rupa (only dosa recommended) which is right across the street near Bank of Baroda...much better in taste. Food arrived after a long wait of 45 mins. The manager also showed me the order timestamp to prove that it hadn't been an hour. Now coming to the food, the starter (veg salt and pepper) was above average surprisingly...beats the local reputation. Paneer butter masala - not good. Lachha paratha - too hard Mixed kulcha - they gave paneer kulcha instead of what I ordered and then the manager (yes, not the waiter) tried to convince me that it was mixed kulcha. It was anything but kulcha! Last but not the least, so ridiculously overpriced for a city like Varanasi. Overall score: 1/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Service: 0.5/5 Food: 2.5/5 Wait time: 1 hour for main course! (I saw another customer yelling for the wait time as well) So not recommended! Only go if you are having insanely too many good days and would like to have a bad one for a change!

Nice food and place is very good

Worst Restaurant I have ever visited.l recommend nobody to visit this restaurant. Both Quality and Quantity is very cheap.Price is also very high but quality is not upto expectations.It's totally waste of Money. No proper service was delivered.
