Makhan Bhog - Sweet shop in Siliguri - Jalpaiguri, India

It was horrible mistake to choose to go to this place where neither cashier nor chef know the difference between puri sabji and chhola bhatura.. The worst part was they will try to convince you with all the fake conviction that both are similar..for them to know what is puri sabji looks like below is the picture..

I have visited this place recently. Location wise it's best sweet shop to be. But they are naive in making South Indian Dishes. Ambience is good. Sitting arrangements are also good but only 10-12 people can seat at one time. Rate wise it is one of the expensive sweet shop in Siliguri. See my bill to decide yourself whether the rates are expensive or not. Taste is supreme but limited to sweets only. All other items are awful.

Uneducated thieves are handling the phone, addresses customers over the phone as 'Margaya Kya' & prefers hanging the call upon raising concerns / discrepancies. Feedback to the owner, please note that we are paying for the food & you're not doing any charity by serving us. If quality is not up to the mark, customers are deemed to provide feedback. I walked into the shop & ordered 3 paper dosa for takeaway. Upon reaching home, I realized that the dosa packed wasn't paper but plain dosa which costs lower than paper dosa. Never order paper dosa, they sell the same plain dosa with a higher premium.

Disclaimers:Please taste sweets before buying it from here . I bought guru rasgoolas & they were extremely bad, old and sour in taste. the shop dint shy away from selling me days old sweets. When I called and informed them, they said they don't have stuffs to make gurwala rasgoolas. Then why cheat customers ? quality has degraded over the years. Worst restaurant ever seen in siliguri. Don't go on brand name These people doesn't have manners to talk to their customers at all. I ordered sandwich and they sent me frozen one from the fridge , when i complaint them about it than they clearly denied that it's my problem.... In their point of view the sandwiches which they make is always frozen and if you want to eat than eat it otherwise get lost. Whosoever is attending the call on counter please learn how to talk to customers , may be you have made a lot of money but in terms of services you guys are pathetic. Thanks for keeping my money and giving me frozen sandwich ....

Not too good as a sweet shop that too also here Bengali sweets are a name it itself. Rasgulla costing Rs.20 is available at Rs.10 at Fulbari mistanna bhandar. is as if tinned rasgulla.Not soft . Rasmalai @38 is some chese balls in coloured milk.not malai. But if you need AC sweet shop, then you have this.

We are new in siliguri and due to home quarantine not able to explore city but thanks to swiggy atleast we can order ans have exposure in delicious food.. We have decided to order some deserts and snacks from Makhan Bhog as saw Google reviews were good and must say the taste waste really good from Chena Jalebi to Chilly Baby corn everything was mouth watering. Price is worth for the taste ans quantity. Packing and hygiene level is also up to the mark. Also spoon was provided for gulab jamun and Chilly Baby corn, Sauce was provided with samosa

This is a sweets shop and it has all other stuff as well , bakery items such as pizzas , pastries, momos , juices quiet famous i believe !
