This power plant is one of the largest steam power plant of Maharashtra. Here people working are supportive excluding some exception case. CISF staff is not at all supportive. They will ask you irrelative questions and will harrase you without any reason. We faced one such person of CISF who showed his EGO and harssed us for 1 hour. After being on duty he didn't checked our car and told us to wait for 45 minutes. Such people create bad impression of CISF. However his higher authority was much more supportive and he didn't listens to his higher authority also.

Some units shut down by MAHAGENCO. Total nine units available here. In running condition seven units. Here all types cooling tower available natural draft and forced draft. It very good place 4 production of thermal energy Coal is used to produce energy and this coal enters the plant 4m this gate. Strict checking is done , weight of truck is also measured.
Gate of hell. The most important gate of cstps, but management do nothing for its improvement. Cisf personals performing their duty in very unpleasant condition. There are no roof over the gate .
