We were very happy that we chose Majo House. The place was quiet and there were nice restaurants nearby. The sea was just in front of us beyond the road. The house looked pretty cool, we liked the design. It had a nice atmosphere. Mahesh was super helpful and very polite. Always there when we needed him. He told us about the area, the people, everything interesting. Every morning he served wonderful breakfast as well. :)

Mickey is a gracious host. The sea view room was beautiful. One could just sit outside on the Verandah and enjoy the sunset with a Bier. The breakfast was delectable, there were a variety of Western and south Indian dishes. Mickey also had good recommendations on nearby eateries and things to do. The Chilli out Cafe was a favourite for me and my partner. Mickey was also able to help out with arranging means of commute, including a Taxi to the airport on our last day. I really enjoyed my time at Majo House and hope to stay here again.
We spent the new year's Eve week end there. We occupied the 4 rooms. All are equipped with their own bathroom, all super clean with AC. The place is facing the sea where you can soak in the sun with the loungers. The kitchen is well equipped and the upstairs terrace is ideal for a bbq party. Unfortunately we missed the yoga class but we had a great stay in this very stylish place. Thanks to Miky the owner for making us feel at home and being always available when we needed his input. We'll definitely be there again soon
Stayed at the wonderful Majo House at the start of January and it was hands down my highlight of Kerala.
Days were spent relaxing on the empty beach, taking mini adventures on the Majo bikes and attempting new yoga routines. The evenings were simply spent laughing with the brilliant host, Micky, at a variety of restaurants down the road.
I'd highly recommend a stay here for anyone wanting a relaxed, home-from-home experience.

Just wanted to say how much of an amazing holiday we all had at Majo. I came to Kerala with an open mind but was totally blown away by the regions natural beauty, people, atmosphere, food and general vibe. We stayed in the house which is possibly the most tastefully decorated and furnished accommodation I have ever stayed in and feeds so well off of the local environment.
Micky, thank you for your overwhelming hospitality and guidance during our stay. It would have been easy to take this for granted but had it not have been for your recommendations and direction a lot of time would have been lost finding out the best places to visit, as so often happens when you visit a new country. Thank you so much for everything and making our stay effortless and relaxed.

I hope to see the Majo House return someday in the future, albeit in a new avatar.
Fantastic place right by a quiet stretch of beach - perfect for relaxing, sunbathing and swimming. The accommodation is of top quality, new and well designed. Micky the English owner is always on hand and made our stay over New Year 2015/16 the best possible way to finish our trip around South India. Could not recommend more highly.
