It was an outlandish feeling. Really i was excited since it was my 1st visit. Nature scenario is perfect and all right. It is one of the biggest and oldest zoo.It was named Maitri Garden coz it showed the friendship of India &Russia coz in bhilai, steel plant was built with the help of Russian Team.Entry fee is very common and reasonable. (Ok-Ok)They also have Canteen facility. Garden have boat rides,musical fountain, big &beautiful flower garden.Its a good option for picnics and big party enjoyments. They have all type of animals and birds like Tiger, white tiger, Lion, Crocodiles, Royal Bengal Tiger, python, Bear, peacock, rabbits, tortoises, turtles, porcupines, love birds, guniea pig, Monkeys, parrots and many more. I think more natural environment should be created for larger mammals like tiger, lion, bear.They have beauty at their best, but they were looking lazy and weak which made me diasppointed.Since i am an animal lover, so i felt desperated by viewing them. Rest everything is alright.........
