Great food, start the day with yoga. Chanting and twice daily treatments of massage and shirodhara. Location is beautiful in UNESCO World heritage area next to mountains. Mosquitoes only come out at dusk and aren't abundant. Monkeys can be seen on the trip in.
Review for Indians only. It is like visiting a foreign land. A very serene resort. No network except at reception, where there is Wi-Fi. At the reception while the foreigners are provided with a welcome drink like fresh tender coconut, Indian guests will not be offered anything. Barring one, all cottages are sharing basis, i.e., there will be another couple or visitor in the other half of the cottage. The interiors are lovely, minimalistic. And that is what is required in an ayurvedic setting. One will not feel the need for fan, let alone an air conditioner. An Italian runs this place. He is quite dedicated. For foreigners, there is a guided tour into the architecture and design of the resort. Indians are expected to know all this already, hence not even the itinerary or schedule will be shared so as not to disturb. As it is the foreigners huddle up in their groups and avoid any contact with Indians. The medication and therapies are fantastic. The staff is polite. But somewhere one realises the difference in behaviour by the doctors and staff to Indians. No wonder there are no repeat Indian customers. And that suits the resort. So do visit as it will help your health.

This is a very beautiful resort, people usually go there to reset their life style or detox their system. This place usually see more of foreigner crowd, as they believe in our ancient Vedic way of living more than we do;) I personally loved this place. So calm and serene. You'll get to eat only organic food, do not expect any spices or non-veg;) food prepared using millets and other organic items! Get ready for a primitive life style if making your mind to visit this place. Their Ayurvedic team of doctors and experts will be around you to help you in your healing process! A must visit place to reboot system and start a fresh!
Beautiful setting with cool temperature. Makes you feel at home. Excellent bed and bathroom quality linen. Delicious meals. Yoga Ashram and Trascendental meditation school. Owners are close and friendly mixing with clients for yoga and dinner talks. Music events. Love it! Perfect place for a Panchakarma.
The environment in Maitreyi is clean, beautiful and healthy. The drinking water is clean and the water in your bath room is solar heated. You are served organic food coming from the 25 acres of farmland that surrounds the village. Architecture and urban planning is a story of its own. Especially the carpentry work is amazing. The food is simple, varied - and deliciously flavored. From early morning, the technicians prepare and perform the Ayurvedic treatments. You receive two treatments a day - and every day you feel how you are detoxified - and how energy and joy of life are increasing. The houses are simple and beautiful - and there is plenty of room. There is a nice atmosphere and everyone is friendly and caring. And you meet insightful and wonderful people - and the humor is hearty and easy to understand.

It's near Aliyar Dam. It was a very good restaurant and all the food was very tasty and affordable . There is a lot of parking space available here. Good toilet facilities are provided. Staff behavior was excellent. No AC dining.
