Jai Honnakeri Mallayya Mailar Lingeshwara! Located on the divine holy hilltop attracting countless devotees visiting this pious temple. Especially on Sankranti festival there is a big jathra performing grand abhisheka's and arti's. To darshan the Mallayya, one has to climb 100+ steps to hilltop, stepway is covered by sunroof a good initiative. Surrounding now has good stay facilities provided by localities with bathroom and toilets arrangements. Yet need lots of cleanliness and hygiene that I believe is realised by locals as well and are trying best to improvise. Mandakki, mirchi bajji, poori & tea/milk are majorly available on paying for eateries along with sugarcane juice for visitors. Surrounding needs lots of cleanliness, visitors/devotees needs to keep this place clean. Parking space available at the outskirt and also near Lake as well. Hilltop has a Divya Jyoti that lights up continuously as a sign of hopes and belief of self development. Devotees contribute oil in regards to the light.

This is worship place. Lord Shiva is placed on the hill in the name of mailarlinga. Every year in the month of January 13-15 during Sankranti a grand festival is celebrated. Lakhs of people will gather here to celebrate festival. Good time to visit is 1week after festival. Now a days we will get good accommodation in this village with all basic facilities. At present the connecting road between Raichur to mailpur is very good 4lane road.

I dont have darshan totay becoz darshan line is not perfect and keep som police man in main door and line in front of gudi gate nmmnedeevru mailaapur

4 stars because there is no availability of toilet and free drinking water. Its at the top of the mountains. Its located in mountain. Have to climb the steps to rich the temple. And when you start after a while your legs are gone. But when you rich somehow at the top you feel the breeze of like you have completed some thing. Its like doing hard work and at last when the success comes the smile you have on your face that the feeling. Its pretty amazing experience. Please Have a visit. No specific parking space. I had visited at night when the temple was closed so we parked in from of a house and went. Can bring kids. Feel good. Can travel there by bus or private cars or by local rickshaws. Have a great time enjoy.

One of the 12 Khandoba peethas where the God is believed to have stayed and enshrined in these temples. It feels ecstatic to be in the abode of the almighty and having blessed from him after a good climb of stairs.
