The only thing you have to face is queues which is common for government hospital.It is on sanganeri gate, dedicated for all gynecology treatment, OPD is available 24 hour, IPD is availableparking, restroom, medical store available,waiting lobby is here, here free medicine is available. Mahila Chikitsalaya is a tertiary care hospital & one of the busiest hospitals of Jaipur. It is an attached teaching hospital (Obstetrics & Gynecology Department) of SMS Medical College, Jaipur to provide Obstetrics care and Gynecological services to the patients. It is located in the heart of old city area of Jaipur near to Sanganeri Gate. The Cottage Hospital was erected by Major General Sir Sawai Madho Singh Bahadur in memory of his friend Lt. Col. Sir Curzon Wyllie in A.D 1911. The Zanana Ward has been built at a cost of Rs 43,470 by Sir Sawai Madho Singh Bahadur in memory of Lady Hardinge of Penshurst Vicereine of India and was opened by Lord Reading Viceroy and Governor General of India on 19th March, 1922. The Mayo Hospital was other name of this hospital in public domain. But in 1937 this hospital was converted into court and transport office. On 1st March 1987 the Chief Minister Late Haridev Joshi again converted this building into hospital for women care. At that time 176 beds were sanctioned with two units. In 1989 four medical shops were started by Kardhani. The Cubical ward of this hospital was constructed by donation in 1997.Presently there are 504 sanctioned beds out of which there are 33 ICU beds. Since 2004, this hospital had Modern Labour Rooms, Operation Theatre & Intensive care units. New Outdoor block, Blood Bank, Laboratory, X-Ray, Ultrasound units were constructed by RUIDP (Rajasthan Urban Infrastructure Development Project) & started on 29th July 2005. Presently there are 7 Obstetrics & Gynecology Units and one Pediatrics unit. Pediatrics unit consists of 60 neonatal beds which provide services round the clock. Free services are provided for mother & neonate under JSSY, MNDY & MNJY schemes. MMCSBY (Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Beema Yojna) was started on may 2021 to provide medical insurance to the patients. The UNICEF team which visited the hospital on 5 April 2013 highly appreciated the working & cleanliness of this hospital despite immense workload. The institution provides undergraduate training for MBBS students & interns and postgraduate teaching to the PG residents. In 2015, one year certificate course were started for MBBS doctors working in rural areas to improve patient care. The hospital premises have residential facility for doctors, paramedical staff & PG students. Developments:- On 26 March 2015, Rajasthan's first state-run Human Milk Bank (Jeevan Dhara) was inaugurated by Health Minister Shri Rajendra Singh Rathore at Mahila Chikitsalaya in collaboration with NIPI(Norwegian Govt.) & J.K. Lon Hospital, Jaipur. It aims to collect excess breast milk from willing lactating mothers after screening which is provided to newborns and infants deprived of it. The Milk Bank, is following International guidelines during the procedures. This will help in reducing Infant Mortality Rate of Rajasthan. A new Mother & Neonatal wing built by Central Govt. of India (NRHM) comprising of 100 beds and all modern facilities including two Modern Labour Rooms, one neonatal unit, four O.Ts ,one recovery room, one waiting hall, three wards and nineteen cottage and cubical rooms, & one blood bank and two lifts will be inaugurated shortly. (This is called MCH Building) The institution has grown over the years & is currently having 504 sanctioned beds. There is a qualified team of 55 doctors, 58 residents & 260 nurses which provide free health care services round the clock. Various incentive related government flagship schemes were launched in Rajasthan since 2006 namely (1) JSY (Janani Suraksha Yojana) in April 2006 (2) JSSY (Janani Shishu Suraksha Yojana) in September 2011. (3) MNDY (Mukhyamantri Nishulk Dava Yojana) on 2nd October 2011 (4) MNJY (Mukhymantri Nishulk Jaanch Yojana) in April 2013 (5) Shubhlaxmi Mukhymantri Yojana in April 2013. (6)Mukhyamantri chiranjeevi swasthays bima yojna May 2021

Every staff and face of the women's hospital is very useless, the staff and doctors talk rudely, the doctor does not even talk to anyone, the staff is hungry for money, the behavior of the guard is very poor, there is a queue for hours to report.

It is government female hospital, all facility available for pregent women. Without any fees

Hospital is good , doctors are very rude , they misbehaving with patient , nobody want to help patient and always they Ask ' Kal Aana' Everytime there so many excuse , machine not working, doctors are not there, toady we are doing protest , very bad management by hospital administration.very very bad doctors
