Very beautiful place.... Maa Narmada flowing in front of the fort. Temples, handloom centre, boating (till Sahasradhaara - group is recommended ) Everything is very beautiful. One can spend hours looking at Narmada Ahilyabhai Holkar museum is also good. Entry to museum is free

Its a great & old authentic place of MP state. It was kingdom of Ahalya Ji devotee of Shiv Bhagwan. Near by big Narmada River and good food places. I would recommend this place for friends & family outing

The hotel is new and the rooms are spacious, neat and clean. They have a kitchen as well and you can order good veg food ,which is served in the dining area. It's just 1 km walk from the ghat and Fort. The staff was polite and helpful.
