Patna: Is one of the filthiest city I have ever travelled.this time due to high air flight prices , I chose to travel by train. One of the biggest mistakes to reach bihar. Once out of patna rly station, it is like stepping into a chaos hit city, no traffic rules, people splitting all over the place, urinating, anywhere. While traveling to Mabendrughat you will find erickshaws a better deal than aNy other mode of transport, as the road to mahendru ghat is all dig up by patna metro rail corporation.

Good place for Morning and evening walks. But nowadays very warm in morning The Ganga is very far from here. Indian railways main office situated here and civil court also

Patliputra,now called PATNA, is the ancient capital of Magadh Kingdom and lies on the southern bank of MAA GANGA MAIYA, the river Ganges. Patna has so many ghats and this Mahendrughat is one of the famous ghat. Few years ago this ghat, MAHENDRU GHAT, was a gateway to connecting the NORTH BIHAR through PAHLEJA GHAT of Sonpur. Mahendru Ghat is situated near Western side of PMCH, Patna Medical College and Hospital. Also this is near ADALAT GHAT AND MISHRI GHAT.

The place is beautiful but place doesn't seem to be very safe as it's pretty empty most of the times and there are loafers roaming around.
