Mahabubabad is also called as Mranukota because of so many hills with full of trees surrounding of this town. Recently this has seperated as a district and it contains railway station and bus station , one medical college and one govt hospital. Which connects khammam and warangal Kothagudem, Palvoncha and bhadrachalam and yelland . Previously it was part of Warangal district.

Mahbubbad is place where three districts intersection. It's a developing place and few aminities need to be increased

Mahabubabad Railway station has two platforms,There is foot over bridge but without roof "no escalator" facility here.... and uncomfortable parking but good thing is free WiFi network available hear.... Use and pay toilet available. mahabubabad Railway station is in between the Warangal to Khammam railway. Out of the railway station no taxis available only you find auto rickshaw and RTC Bus services
