the doctors, hospital and the staff give very homely vibes. loved the experience and the process of operation was very calm and effective. Dr. Vimal Parmar is a very calm person with sweet tone and acted as a father to me during the whole process of operation. The doctor for anesthesia were also very calm and fatherlike to me. I got my Lasik Surgery done a week back. Dr Vimal Parmar, the renowned and amazing ophthalmologist that he is, answered any doubts I had and gave his time to listen. I got to learn a lot from him Everything was explained well to me, any fear I had went away and the procedure was quick and smooth. The staff is very sweet and helpful. The hospital got renovated and has become a more beautiful and comforting space for its patients.

At the outset, my sincere thanks to Dr. Sanjay Christian for the referral to Mahavir Eye Care Centre, which is headed by Dr. Vimal Parmar. Dr. Christian after a thorough examination identified the problem in my left eye as a retina issue and referred me to Dr. Parmar, the best in that field. My first call itself gave me the confidence and the staff who attended the call set me at ease. I must comment on the well thought of and convenient location of the Eye Centre. It is easily approachable, in a prominent spot of Pune Cantonment, and in probably the first high rise commercial multiplex in Camp. Having said that, the Care Centre is a spacious well designed and aptly planned for the purpose on the 2nd floor of the East Wing of Aurora Towers. The Operation Theatre is in an equally spacious unit on the 3rd floor level. The entrance, a well planned one which opens into a spacious reception area brightly lit with natural light and electrical fittings emitting soft brightness. The ambiance is classy. The designer has selected pastel shades of cream, blue and green, colours aptly soothing on the eyes. Posters are scenic and appealing. An overall beautiful sight as patients enter the reception area. The atmosphere is enhanced by the front office staff, well mannered, gentle and helpful. Striking feature is their alertness and reflexes in directing respective staff to administer eye drops and other related activities. Personally I have not had to wait more than 20 minutes between moving to the consulting rooms and being attended to and eventually for the final touch at the expert hands of Dr. Parmar. Consulting cabins are spacious and well equipped with state of the art gadgets, absolutely up to date on technology. Staff are knowledgeable and most obliging, even in explaining and advising the nitty gritties. One is made to feel at ease. The surgery to rectify the hole in the retina of my left eye was performed by Dr. Parmar the day after the initial consultation, counseling and preparation. I felt confident of being in good hands. The gentle procedure of administering anesthesia injections was absolutely professional and painless. Must commend the anesthetist. The surgery was clean, quick and perfectly professional. Dr. Parmar I say is blessed with magical fingers. His patience and kind nature to the extent of complimenting me on being a cooperative patient is most humane to say the least. Understandable eye surgeries are complex, delicate and made out to be scary by many. Dr. Vimal Parmar and his team equally brilliant and obliging put all these myths and frights to rest. It's an overall pleasant experience. One does have to observe the post surgery medical advice and precautions for an early recovery. A word of the hygiene and general cleanliness. Spic and span all through the Care Centre. Commendable indeed, house keeping staff. The patient case history sheet neatly and systematically recorded is informative and user friendly. The frequency of post operation drops and medicines is simply listed. An easy reference record sheet. This is presented to the patient in a well designed brochure like folder. The entire experience has been good. I would certainly recommend Mahavir Eye Care Hospital to my acquaintances and everyone in general for honest, professional and humane treatment of one of the most important and delicate organs of the human body.
