It's zoo without grass. Most sports instruments incomplete without green environment. Ample space for parking available. No protection shade for parking. Still, one man collects Rs10 as parking fee. There is very bad smell around crocodile cage. The cage size for cheetah is very small. CCTVs are out of order. No proper sitting arrangement. For sitting, you need to adjustment with sand and concrete stones. This zoo is best example of carelessness of officers and leaders.
Not much animals are now available still good place to visit Currently only leapord, peacock, monkeys, and crocodile are present in zoo but charges is 15 per person it's ok as compared to maintenance of zoo Staff is also good and cooperative
Mahatma Gandhi zoo solapur is small zoo . It has nearly 180 animals in capitivity. It includes Leopard ,sambar, black buck , crocodiles , parakeets, rhesus monkeys and etc. Its nicely maintained zoo with vegetation. Vaccination ,feeding , deworming ,breeding ,transportation opertaions are comman here.

This zoo is closed temporarily from Covid19 time. But I see some blackbuck in there. Let's hope it will start soon.
