Mahatma Gandhi Chowk - Historical landmark in Mapusa - North Goa, India

Apart from Mahatma Gandhi Chowk, it is also known as Labor Square. Where a large number of laborers wait for work from around 7 am to after noon.

It is a traffic round-about. Not a tourist attraction. There is nothing historical here. Just another traffic circle dedicated to the memory of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation with his bust on a pedestal in the center. Since many roads merge here, it is a very busy traffic junction.

Main circle which u can't miss if ur going to all the beaches and also the main city

You can see the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. Just the head and chest though. It's in the round about and has been safe from any major accidentd till date. It was built to honor the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi. If you come out from the Mapusa bus stand you can see it on the left side. Not an amazing place to click pictures but the morning sunshine is definitely amazing and enjoying.

Good traffic management

Not exactly a tourist attraction. It's sort of a round about and usually has a lot of traffic because it's in the middle of a very busy road.

It's located at the southern entrance of the town. Just a statue of Mahatma Gandhi.
