I went to market second to purchase fish and took 3.5kg weight of 2 fishes. For cleaning Rs 20 per kg. After cleaning just I checked the weight it shows 3kg I felt very happy but I pressed button of machine the exact weight shows 2.3kg in same weighting machine... my friend and me was shocked... I was taken to my house near shop and once again checked the weight. It shows 2.3kg .... Approx Rs 250 lost they make fraud to sell and the weighting machines are also wrong... pls aware and check the weights of product before buy....

You can buy prawns and fish at wholesale prices, if you go at around 5am. Minimum 3kgs for prawns and 5kg for fish. You can buy sea fish as well like vanji pandugappa, tella chanduva, kavallu, maaga, sora chepa.

Very congested place located in the heart of Vijayawada city. Prefer to go early mornings to get fresh and more variety of fishes, prawns, crabs, etc. Cleaning facility also available outside the market. I always visit by 6-7am in the morning to buy sea food items.

It is a normal non veg market, you can get almost major variety of fresh water fish and some sea water fish(live & ice kept), some points to keep in mind while shopping here. 1. Dont trust any seller blindly. 2. Bargains plays important role(mostly hard game). 3. Be alert on weighing process. 4. Never try to argue, they(sellers ) group up very easily. 5. Bargain is must while getting fish cleaning and cutting. 6.avoid Sunday because of heavy rush 7.very few are soft looking but same business tactics. Overall don't act overactive or soft,they do what they want however,be your self and don't hesitate to ask your price
