Mahananda Barage Park - Park in Binnaguri - Jalpaiguri, India

A good place for afternoon walk and spend time through a full greenery and well decorated water side park. It's a family park. Being on bank of the Mahananda sometimes various migratory birds are seen over there. It's a good place for bird lover as well as nature lovers. This is not a free park and it has another extension on other bank of Mahananda. Both can be visited using same ticket how far I knew. But it has small parking area till now.

Very nice place. Anyone can spend few hour here to enjoy the serenity of the riverside aura. There is a food stall just beside the barrage. An open field is also welcome you to sit on its lap. A must visit place in the evening just before the sun sets.

Very small space, good for couples only

Nice place to visit. Lots of flower plants, a place to sit and view of mahananda river during dusk is nice experience.

It's a nice park near the banks of the Mahananda river...one can enjoy the view of migratory birds from here during the winter season... picnic is now prohibited in this area...one can also see people fishing around with fishing rods and in country boats with nets...

It's near my home & place looking too beautiful.

The place is ok, needs more maintenance. Weak bridge !!
