Altogether Mahanad is growing really fast, it has the great market that contains everything right from quality food service to proper logistics support... The market is really a good example that India is heading towards a better future... But only thing it's lacking is proper traffic system...Lack of traffic control sometimes making it hard for people to make it centre of business zone,but this is not a big deal with interference of local administration this too can be resolved soon... I am very impressed with the kind of development this market and area have achieved,more to come in near future too...
Vital roadway junction at centre of northern Hooghly
It's a crowded places throughout the day ...but public transport system aren't great for reaching railway station after evening...there is e-rikshow and they charged too high for reaching any railway station...magra station distance 13km & pandhua is 08km...
Very busy and important junction with a lot of shops around. The 4 roads head towards Magra-Chinsurah (E), Gurap-Dwarbasini (W), Pandua-Khanyan (N) and Polba-Bandel (S). But the traffic is crazy here when there is no traffic/civic police.
