Very cheap and well cooked
Must try the alu zeera cooked with ghee!
Thali was too much spicy for me although I am used to eat spicy food
Curd rice is good but they missed to put curry leaves and remove the oignons !
Located in front Sri Mahabaleshwar Temple main gate , very Local restaurant serving basic Indian, specifically south Indian dishes, such as Idli, Dosa, Medu Vada, Tea, Coffee. With almost no ambience, food taste really good. Portion of food was more than enough for 1 person. Prices are affordable.
Pretty old restaurant. Tasty food we had ordered dose and majjige(buttermilk) dose was like home style sagu was very tasty and coconut chutney was nice overall good food 4 plate dose two majjige and one water bottle cost us 280 rupees affordable!
Tried Kombucha here. Must try if you are in Gokarna main beach. Only available at this restaurant in whole gokarna. I tried it for first time and it was really good. 1 glass 50Rs and for 1lr 100Rs.
TLDR- Definitely worth visiting.. 1)Cute little ambiance, 2)Lovely hostesses (always smiling and charming), 3) Food is incredibly good.

1) kombucha (fermented drink)
2) Juices- basil, watermelon (all are good)
3) food is very healthy (and served with love)
4) GUDBUD icecream (amazing with dry fruits and fresh fruits)
Don't try the veg noodles though
Decent restaurant with basic variety of menu. Located on temple road and one of the very few restaurants in temple road. Water bottle to be purchased. Taste is average. Poori n kurma was awesome of tasted dishes. Meals was good compared to other restaurants on that lane.
Nice view from the Rooftop. If you're visiting, try to get a table at the rooftop.

The curries were finger licking good
Meals are not even enough for a person. We had to order Roti and Curry after eating meals to fill our stomach.
Overall, it's a good restaurant with average hygiene and good food.
Biller guy is arrogant, he will snatch the plates without even allowing time to complete food.

I will say the best restaurant for only veg people visiting Gokarna. Prices are really affordable compared to other veg restaurants in Gokarna. We tried many dishes in our two visits - all liked. Perfect taste, not much spicy.
If you are visiting Gokarna and want a good, amazing, quality breakfast, then Hotel Purohit is a feast for you. Upma, shira, dosa, medu vada and special tea are very good here. In Gokarna you will not get such kind of breakfast. Be sure to visit. Hot
